Interesting collection of straps Neil and notable how each strap seems to give a different character to the FLE.

My preference is for #9, which I'm thinking is a Hirsch Heavy Calf.

Just to throw my hat in the ring, here's mine from today on a golden brown Hirsch Liberty

Guy - I didn't make it easy for myself by not numbering them and by having a watch without any strap in the 1st photo. The one following the Hirsch Liberty (strap 8, but the 9th photo) is an omega one, but as you say it has a similar profile to a Hirsch heavy calf.

I think your gold brown Liberty looks better than the brown one I had.

My overall conclusion is that the FLE will work with a wide range of straps, depending on whether a formal or more casual look is required.

Like others I am pleased that I stuck with the FLE and it's certainly a keeper from my perspective - even though I don't tend to wear a dress watch very often.
