Recommended NATOs?

Post by watchstudent »

Morning,

I am looking for a good quality strap for my C60 (khaki), probably a black one. Would've liked to just get a CW one but at £30 (and not discounted in the recent sale) I think that is a bit steep for a NATO...

Are the ones on watchobsession.co.uk good?

Have a squint at some very recent NATO strap threads.
I recommended at least 5 suppliers of choice.

Cheers

I haven't tries Watchobsession for NATOs, but they look similar to many other suppliers (some of which might be cheaper).

As Reggie says - there have been as couple of recent threads on NATOs - http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... 53&t=23787 for example, or http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... 53&t=24968 :D

I got one from Timefactors which seems well made and good value for the price plus quick delivery.

I have not tried these, but Watchobsession are offering "Buy 2, get one free" on Nato and Zulu straps until end of July..

http://www.watchobsession.co.uk/collect ... tch-straps

Check the T&C's for how to order...

This offer is until the 31st of July. To redeem your third strap free you must add what strap you require within the notes on the Checkout page. This includes all of the details such as, Model (Zulu 3 Ring/5 Ring Silver hardware or PVD Hardware, Nato) Colour of the strap you want (Black, Black with Red Stripes etc) and Size. These details are very important and we require them for the promotion to be valid. You CANNOT mix and match between Zulu and Nato straps. If you buy two Nato straps, you will not be able to redeem a free Zulu strap.

Just thought I would copy an email I sent to Watch Obsession earlier this year:

"I wanted to put my 2001 Rolex Submariner on a Nato to save daily wear and tear on its Oyster bracelet. I put on your green Nato but within days I noticed slight wear around the hole. More worrying I almost lost my Rolex when the tang pushed sidewards slightly and slipped through the buckle. On examination it appears to me that the tang is not long enough nor does the buckle have an indentation in which the tang can rest.

I took off the Nato and purchased one from SecTime which does not have these problems. I put both the green and the black Natos, the latter unopened away in my watch box with no intention of using them. I noticed them again this morning and decided to send this email to you."

To be fair I had a very nice reply from Gary who immediately refunded me.

I have purchased other kinds of straps from them with no problems whatsoever.

I have been looking for the right strap for my khaki c60 also and it arrived half hour ago. 2 piece zulu and perfect colour match. Photos shortly when it had dried out from the shower. Got it from ebay from geckota for a tenner. Bear with....

Looks great with the khaki C60, as you say the colour match is exceptional! Congratulations.

Hi, I've already three of these with different colors.
Really happy with the price/quality & feel in wrist.

p.s. congrats stefs, that brown is a perfect match.
