Protecting a leather watch strap

Post by ItsAliveJim »

Can anyone recommend a good product to protect and condition leather straps? Obviously it has to be non-irritant to wear on the wrist and has to provide a little water protection. Not waterproofing, just to protect from splashes.

My new Steveo strap got splashed yesterday and it doesn't agree with it (the leather is quite light so stains show up) so I'm trying to protect it now while I can.

Thanks folks

Treat as you would with any other leather product. A good cleaner, conditioner and protector.

Be wary of some products as they will turn a light colored leather somewhat darker. Pre test if possible.
