MOD Phoenix straps arrived today.
Agree with comments about finer weave and with use they will likely soften up.
I'm not sure though about the colours & width of stripes but have yet to bring them into use or see them in daylight. Will have to wait and see.

Just put my Submariner on a rather nice olive green Nato I got from SecTime. It's a richer green than the one from from Watch Obsession.
It cost £5.95 with no delivery charge.
Job done.

I've had a couple of SecTime straps lately, and their prices plus free postage certainly make it a cheap way of trying something new on a watch.scooter wrote:Just put my Submariner on a rather nice olive green Nato I got from SecTime. It's a richer green than the one from from Watch Obsession.

I must admit that I haven't got an Admiralty Grey at all; perhaps I ought to. Generally prefer Olive Green, but Grey may be more versatile.

I surprised myself as to how much I liked the look of your Submariner on an olive green NATO.scooter wrote:Just put my Submariner on a rather nice olive green Nato I got from SecTime. It's a richer green than the one from from Watch Obsession.

It is very "toolish" but quite versatile - I have an original which I use on my CW occasionally. I do like the Phoenix green though - it is darker than most.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:I must admit that I haven't got an Admiralty Grey at all; perhaps I ought to. scooter
It does give the Sub a certain devil-may-care look
Scooter - is it the light or does it actually have a pre-washed look?
