Re: Ok folks...which works best
This one is probably my favourite of the ones you've presented. The brown works really well with the green.
The black with green would be a big hit if it was a closer colour match to the watch. Actually, there are some C70 black straps with BRG dots showing through. These are fitted straps, but I'm sure that Kip mentioned in another thread that the C70 leather straps will fit the C60 case if you bend the pins a little... No guarantees there from me though... although I do have C70 fitted straps on a number of other watches though (Oris and Lum-Tec to name two), they're pretty versatile.

Also, I agree with downer - looks great on the original CW bracelet as well...

Re: Ok folks...which works best
Ok, just did a little test... I just happened to have a green dot C70 fitted strap at hand. I've just whipped of one side of the bracelet on a C60 and fitted the C70 strap to it - and yes it does fit. I cheated a little and used a 1.5mm spring bar instead of bending a 1.78mm one - it achieves the same thing.

I'm with missF on this one. That mesh is just not substantial enough. I have the same one and it looks silly on most watches (to me). A thicker shark mesh though would probably look great.missF wrote:either of the brown padded leather straps look good to me - the lighter one looks more casual.stefs wrote: Leather

Re: Ok folks...which works best
it might look ok on a nato if you can find the absolute right green, but that's a really tough shade.downer wrote:It looks best on the mesh, but it would look even better on the CW bracelet.
i don't know that i 100% agree w/downer that it would be *better* on the CW bracelet, but i still think those are the two best options. none of the straps you have w/green in them are quite the right green and the other leather straps just don't seem to work for me.

Re: Ok folks...which works best
How do you think the C70 BRG green-dot strap would work with a green bezel black faced C60 Trident Pro 600 42mm? Is the green close enough to complement and not be off?

Re: Ok folks...which works best
It's quite a bit lighter than the dark green of the MkII bezel. One thing to note is that my c60 that I used to check the fit is a MkI, so I can't guarantee fit on the MkII. Kip said that even the dedicated MkI C60 strap doesn't fit the MkII case... Is it worth a punt? Maybe... No help really, am I?rgb wrote:How do you think the C70 BRG green-dot strap would work with a green bezel black faced C60 Trident Pro 600 42mm? Is the green close enough to complement and not be off?

Re: Ok folks...which works best
It depends how you want to wear it.
Dressy, I'd go for black leather or CW bracelet. Not keen on mesh.
Casual, the distressed leather looks amazing!
Swimming watch (dare I say it...?) - rubber or bracelet.

Leather may not work best if you want to wear this week, due to the scorching temp.
Keep the leathers clean and fresh for when it cools down a bit

The rubber gets my vote. C60s suit rubber very well; not so leather IMHO

Well, I still think the dark brown would look great with the C11....
But I'm not going to try to fit the C70 strap to my C11 though!
