NATO straps (Do they wear well ?)

Post by magicman »

Hello there

I have lots of NATO's, but most of my NATO's are Newish and lighty worn, and usually my watches end up back on a bracelet, so I was wondering, how do NATO's last with constant wear.
Has anyone, got one that's been worn regularly for some time and how well do they cope with everyday use ?

I think my most expensive one is £20ish from Gekota.

I have several higher quality NATOs (MORA, ADPT) and they are wearing quite well. I have noticed that the cheaper NATOs start to fray in different parts. The two mentioned above have seen quite a bit of use over the last couple of years with little to no signs of wear. I should note that the other options are usually sorted out with my Zippo. A little flame to the frays goes a long way.

EDIT: I should add that the one B&R Bands NATO I have is very good too. I only have the one. The other options I have several different ones.
