Hirsch Straps, what's so special?
Hirsch Straps, what's so special?
Got some unused 20 mm hirsch straps, which i could trade for vintage leatherstraps, natos, zulus etc.
The green one is genuine shark
Throw me an offer, pref.20-24mm

I have a Hirsch Liberty on a Panny-a-like but I prefer Di-Modell straps. Imperator straps (Croc Type) are very nice especially in the dark brown. And must mention the Chronissimo which is a bit of a legend.
Re: Hirsch Straps, what's so special?
All this talk of straps has pushed me into ordering a Hirsch Duke in blue for one of my cheaper watches which doesn't get worn due to it's terrible bracelet. Will report back once it arrives as to whether it improves the feel of the watch overall.

In super quick time, the Hirsch Duke has arrived, and is fitted to the watch. Thread is here in the Other Brands section.

Only recently discovered Hirsch, and have yet to place an order. Tempting, though.

I'm loving the Hirsch rubber on my C60 Trident orange. Great straps at decent prices; that's what is so special

As with all things Hirsch seem to come in different qualities, i have owned a Hirsch Modena and it was a very nice croc grain but i now have an Hirsch Liberty which is far superior IMO

I've got a Hirsch strap on my C70 Ad Astra. Decent enough quality, but not amazing either.

Lets review my current Hirsch status, in spite of not having too many 22mm watches
Currently: Knight (grey), Lucca (brown), Heritage (honey), Robby(black-yellow), Accent (black) - all in 22mm
On order: Limited Edition Lucca Black with Red stitching (20 mm)

Re: Hirsch Straps, what's so special?
I've a couple of Hirsch straps, one is a carbon (on a TH F1) and the other is a Mariner which I have on my Glycine Combat 6. The mariner is excellent, whilst the carbon although nice looking is a little stiff still. I also have Di Modell Rallye (on another TH F1) and that's a fantastic strap, really comfy to wear. Everyone of the watches I mentioned came on rubber straps, which aren't my bag at all, so I've ditched them. The TH rubber straps and clasps sold for really good money on flea bay

Decent quality for the money. I've had one on my Parnis for a while.

Picked up a second hand Hirsch Grand Duke for my C9 FLE and it's in great condition still with a nice patina.

I'm using a Grand Duke on my C11 that I've been wearing daily this week. At first I didn't care for the match, but it's growing on me. I think the brown GD goes with almost anything.

Hirsch are my go-to for either fixing up or mixing up my watches. The range of styles and sizes means i can always find something that works. I usually go and do a search for something similar elsewhere but usually end up back with Hirsch!
P.s. no I don't work for the company!

They vary in quality. I have the Rally strap and its far below in quality than the Knight model. It almost seems that they are of different brands.
