Help me choose a NATO for C60GMT please!
As the title says, I'm trying to choose a NATO for my incoming C60GMT.
I've already ordered a black and orange stripe, but fancy something a bit different as well.
Having seen the NatoStrapCo site, courtesy of Colin (teestech) I think I may have found a good source of what I'm after.
I've narrowed it down to four straps, with the intention of using the colour orange to emphasise and bring out the orange markers on the watches face.
Would appreciate and help and comments!
1. The Triton
2. The Gamma
3. The Saturn
4. The Racer X

I like the 2nd and the 4th choices personally.

Personally I think you only want a touch of orange with this GMT. I would go for No 2, but might try it on No 1 if the weather was right...
Enjoy, whatever you choose

I'd go with the second and fourth too. I've got the second on my orange monster and it looks great.
Given the price of NATOs, why not buy all four?

Re: Help me choose a NATO for C60GMT please!
Thanks guys, this is already helping me out fantastically!
Well, I did think that for a moment, but I've already gone bonkers this month with two watches and three straps already, then I want to get a Black Ops II PVD from these guys as well, and now maybe a bespoke strap from SteveOstraps !redsquare wrote:Given the price of NATOs, why not buy all four?

Its 2 or 4 for me, with a leaning to 4.
I've got a 2, known as a Tudor Heritage @ Watchgeko.com (or is it. co.uk?). Happily lend it to you to 'try b4u buy'.
Alternative will be a full on Orange ZULU for on the beach!

Re: Help me choose a NATO for C60GMT please!
Thanks Guy, that's dragged me to a decision! I've ordered the Tudor Heritage from Watch Gecko. Thanks for your kind offer, but I decided that for under £7 I might as well just take the plunge rather then post your back and forth!
I've looked at your C11 on the orange several times today. It's maybe a bit bright for me, but never say never
And I may still order a Racer X next week.

You're referring to Mr Rick's C60 GMT on 'tudor heritage', I presume. Does look good.Richard B wrote:Found it, and now I know it's definitely the right one!

One thing I am aware of with NATO / ZULU straps is that most of them sold have polished s/s fittings, which is fine with a lot of watches, including the C60 as the top plane of the case is polished s/s, but this is not the case with all watches e.g. I'm wearing my RLT 73 today that has a brushed s/s case and have taken care to team it up with a NATO that also has brushed s/s fittings. Also I make sure that, when wearing my C11 Black Manta on a NATO / ZULU, the strap has black / charcoal fittings (this can also apply to buckles on leather straps).
Beware the OCD police.

I don't know why I didn't think of this last night, but Timefactors have a 'James Bond with a Twist' - but only in 20mm (s that too small - I can't remember)
Also it is bead-blasted, so might not be right (see Guy's comment above)

Yup, I've got that one too. It is only in 20mm and 22mm needed for the C60.Robin CB wrote:I don't know why I didn't think of this last night, but Timefactors have a 'James Bond with a Twist' - but only in 20mm (s that too small - I can't remember)

Timefactors NATOs are top quality though IMHO; excellent value / price.

Shame it's only available in 20mm size as I like that!

Glad to have been of service Richard!Richard B wrote:Having seen the NatoStrapCo site, courtesy of Colin (teestech) I think I may have found a good source of what I'm after.
Jason at NatoStrapCo seems a decent guy, and the quality of the Saturn I bought is great, and price was certainly pretty good considering it was shipped for free to the UK.
For your GMT, I think I'd go with the Racer (No 4).
