Di Modell

Post by moriarty »

Does anyone have a Di-Modell Chronissimo ?

I have seen conflicting views that they are either the most comfortable strap ever or 'as stiff as old boots' :problem:

Yes I do. It's fitted to my Chronostop and is very comfortable. A word of caution though if you have small wrists (mine are 6 1/2 inches) the centre part of the strap is padded so very hard to put any extra holes in.

I have one, but I found it does not fit well on a lot of watches, due to the intersection of the strap edge and the lug.

Having said that, when it fits it looks good and is comfortable.

That was one of the reasons for choosing it.I think the notches work well with my watch

I am thinking about fitting one to my Seiko dive watch, having seen a photo of the strap on an identical watch on a Philippine forum. It fits and looks good, so I just wanted to be reassured about comfort.

UKWatchStrap appears to be best on price, although they appear to be shut for half term at the moment

I have one of these straps as well. It is a very stiff strap, and requires quite a long time to break in. But once it's broken in, it's an incredibly comfortable strap.

Definitely pay attention to the length though. My wrist is 7 1/4" and I wear the short Chronissimo. Long one would be way too long.

Right now that strap lives on this watch, and suits it perfectly.
