I'm not sure about the crocodile, the skin has very solid 'plates' and I think it is going to take a bit of time to conform to my wrist. I do like the colour of it, and with the big detail of the skin patterns would probably look worse on a smaller watch.
The lizard on the C5 I'm really pleased with, it accentuates the cream face of the watch really well. I bought the C5 off eBay with a very boring dark brown strap. This has really lifted it.
