C60 GMT Replacement Strap
I've had my GMT for just two days and I'm not sure I'll get on with the bracelet so I'm thinking of replacing it already.
I don't want to put it in a NATO as I wear to many of my other watches like this (Parnis GMT and Orient Mako Blue) so I fancy a nice leather strap, with or without deployment.
Looking at pictures I fancy a brown croc, tan ostrich or a brown strap similar to that available on a C7 Red or Green. Has anyone got a recommendation for these choices and know if I can purchase a strap like those on the C7's?
Has anyone done similar with the C60/61 either GMT or diver and have pictures? I've been googling Rolex's and got a few ideas.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
Do you have white or orange markers on the C60 GMT ?
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

I've got the white markings as I wanted the more classic look.
Currently keeping the bracelet but still looking for the right strap.

If you are thinking about getting rid of your bracelet, I might be interested.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
I think the GMT may stay on the bracelet.
I've got a C60 now as well and that came on leather strap but is now on a Nato and will be swapped on those to give me variety (I just need to get my leather Nato's through the spring bars to be really happy).

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
If you are struggling to get a leather NATO through the standard springbars, get some curved ones. They give you far more space to get the strap through. My mbii had a similar problem and the curved bars meant that I could use the relatively thick leather NATO as belowProco2020 wrote:I think the GMT may stay on the bracelet.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier of curved spring bars?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
Get a spring bar curving tool. They all work and you can use straight spring bars which are cheaper and easier to get.
They can be had from supply houses, such as cousins, in the UK or on Ebay.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
The curved spring bars are for my C60, GMT staying on the bracelet but I can't get the C60 on a leather NATO only fabric and it'll look mega on a weathered leather NATO.

Do you buy a larger spring bar to curve it? Eg 24mm for a 22mm lug width?

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
Use the same size spring bar. The spring movement is more than sufficient.

Re: C60 GMT Replacement Strap
I have a wonderful leather strap that I found online that really makes my Seiko diver shine... Its also MUCH more comfortable than the one it came with.
