I got my first CW about 18 months ago - it's great. I've been using the green webbing strap it came with and swapping out for crown and buckle's Chevron Autumn Brown w/ bronze hardware - I enjoy the combination as it is a bit comfier than using the default strap. However I'm not a huge fan of cloth straps since when they get wet, they stay wet for a while (also I just want another strap )

Anyone have suggestions on a good pairing? It's hard to find straps with bronze hardware (doesn't have to be the exact shade but at least bronze that also patinas).

Thought about giving up and just getting some of the tide straps from CW but i'm not sure if i'd like the black strap on a bronze and green watch.

I have one of these. I found a nice green leather strap which matched well. A dark green fkm tropic rubber, but other than that natos with green in them.

I never bother about the fittings being bronze. I hardly notice that they are just brushed steel.

Okay, I believe we are talking of 22mm straps for this watch;-



My suggestion will be a 'NATO 2' webbing strap from Elliot Brown in Grey/green with burnt orange pinstripe on the Bronze pvd buckle.
