18mm black buffalo with white stitching

Post by Leo David »

I've been looking for a replacement strap for my C5 MkII aviator (black dial) and opted for a black buffalo with white stitching and brushed steel furniture. The buckle has a neat little logo in one corner. The strap is slightly padded and it arrived fitted with new spring bars. I am impressed with the quality of the leather, tidy stitching and very neat edging. On first glance it looks like a good quality strap and I'm pleased with the price. I bought it from http://www.thestrapshop.co.uk. I ordered it on Sunday evening and it arrived today so very quick delivery. Now, on to the dreadful pictures taken on my BlackBerry for which apologies. I'll take some pics on the watch at the weekend.

Nice to see how it looks on the watch. TSS supply good straps and bracelets for reasonable prices.

Usual terrible quality photos taken on my Blackberry (sorry) but they might give some idea of the overall appearance of the strap on the watch. What I would say is that the strap isn't massively long and I'm wearing it in the 3rd hole with just enough leather to pass through the two keepers. I must get a decent camera and tent kit from maplin, but do I spend money on camera or watches...?

That's a nice strap and it goes very well with the C5A - good find!
