Very impressive collection you have there. I assume these have been acquired over a longer period of time? It’s not the kind of collection you throw together within a year of starting with this habit.
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

You’re right, my collection started around 1991, at that time you could walk into a Rolex AD and simply buy one (except for a steel Daytona) and most of the time you got a nice discount, too.

Errrr! Unbelievable, is that the right adjective? Given that you only joined the forum two days ago that's quite the way to introduce yourself. Not seen a collection of quality watches like it on here, or even close. That a CW is being allowed in such hallowed company is quite the compliment.

Thanks! I have posted these pics, because Kip asked for a few pics as a reply to introducing myself in the Welcome forum. BTW, the Aquitane arrived here yesterday and I have to say, that it is a very well produced and good looking watch.

Reports are coming in that the global shortage of Rolex watches can be traced directly to Berlin
