SOTC JBM1990 November 2024

Post by jbm90 »

Below is my current collection, having bought my first CW nearly a couple of years ago

I’ve recently reduced my overall collection, as there are a couple I wear regularly, especially the C65 Chrono

Having bought that in the last CW sale, I decided to get rid of some watches that weren’t being worn very much!
Love the design of the forum special which I managed to get when there were some spare at the end of the process, well done the design team again!

The C8 Revival is another one I picked up in a CW sale, but think it’s such a nice model!

Last CW is the Typhoon, which I picked up on eBay fairly recently. It needed a bit of a clean up, but is in quite good condition, and just pretty cool!

The Marloes and Farer are lovely watches too, I’d say very similar quality to the CWs. I have one more Marloe incoming this month (hopefully). The blue Lumiere is one CW on my list for the long term, but also interested to see any other new releases

Also got a draw full of straps and a couple of CW bracelets, as I’m sure most people here will have too

Great collection. Do you have a grail piece to aim for?

CW watch count - enough to keep me very happy, but always room for more!

Nice balanced collection. I like the Marloe GMT on the hybrid!

Not particularly! I don’t plan on spending a large (compared to my current watches) amount on any one watch. I can appreciate the Bel Cantos are very impressive, but they aren’t a watch I can see myself wearing.

So depends what else CW come up with in the next year or 2

I didn’t really like the leather strap that it came on (not my choice, as bought from eBay), but thought that the hybrid would look good

Great collection but I can’t help notice there isn’t one watch on a bracelet, is that a deliberate choice or just how it worked out?

I’ve got the bracelet for the C65, but don’t use it very often. It seems to fit so many straps that I’m usually rotating through those!

I bought the forum sealander with consort bracelet, which I do wear from time to time. But I’m generally not a bracelet person, due to preference but also not being in an office regularly too!

I have been very impressed with the consort bracelet I have to say! Very comfortable and lightweight
