Anybody been picking these up at Swatch stores?

I like the Mercury and Saturn versions.

If I was near a store I’d be tempted. But Edinburgh and Manchester are just too far.

A tad annoying as we have a Swatch store in Newcastle.

A bit like the new Jack Daniel’s Single Malt release. A travel exclusive available initially in every UK airport apart from - guess where?

It’s like living in a wilderness sometimes

I might be willing to move my Pluto on if you're interested? I wouldn't want daft money for it, but would put it in the FS section as per forum rules and we could deal from there.

Managed to pick this up today in Battersea. Hadn’t been down there for a while, but they had everything other than Neptunes

A bit like Norwich. I’ve always said that you can buy anything there, apart from the thing you actually want.

We have just one AD that has a monopoly on Omega, Rolex and Tudor. They used to do JLC and Cartier as well, but there are no outlets for those in the city now. The premium brands in Goldsmiths are Longines, TAG and Rado.

It could be worse. You could be in Stoke-on-Trent.

I agree, Steve. I went there once and it was closed!!

My beef about the Swatch stores is that there are 3 in London, 1 in Manchester and 1 each in Glasgow/Edinburgh.

There seems to be a geographical anomaly, particularly in Scotland. 2 selected stores 47 miles apart and none between there and Manchester. Plus none in Wales or NI!

@TheBeatles I was so vexed by this situation a few years ago that I started a thread:

How do you fare in the AD postcode lottery?
