MiniMpi - July 2014
Well the last 3 years on this forum have been fantastic.
When I joined the forum on that Sunday in April 10th 2011, I didn't realize at the time just what it would mean to me and how it has changed the way I look and know about watches for ever.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, I have made some life long friends and it has become a big part of my life.
I call it "My Happy Place"
When my friend introduced me to Christopher Ward back in 2009 I believe, I felt a need to get my own one and it took two years but in 2011 I bought my very first CW, a brand new C70 Ad Astra Red Dial.
It really sold me on the brand and that watches would be now a big part of life from then on.
I am a true fan of CW and hold my hand up high to this fact.
I bought my first non-CW late last year, a beautiful and rare modified Yellow dial Orient Mako.
I loved the watch but CW is just in my blood and I sold the Mako to a fellow forum "inmate".
I figure I will at some stage get another non-CW, maybe for my 50th birthday perhaps and it could be an Omega or a Longines but for now I am a CW guy
Here is a link to my previous SOTC which gives an in-depth look into some of my watches I've owned before and some that I still do : http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... ilit=+sotc
My current collection has 5 CW's in it with 1 more on the way soon. My very understanding and lovely girlfriend Louise has 4 CW's, a very rare W8 Matisse IPK Limited Edition with serial # 01/30 !! an Alex Sport Chrono, a W4 Loveheart and recently a lovely W60 Coral.
So this is my current collection :
My C60 Trident Red JAG 2012 FLE # 58/100 :
My C60 Trident Black Bezel on a Hirsch Knight :
My C10 Aviator on a lovely Brown aviator style strap :
My C11 Chrono SKK :
My C6 Kingfisher SKSI :
And this beauty soon(Photo is of the actual watch) C7SBS-390-BB Bluebird # 0673/1912 :
The C10 Aviator is a recent addition all the way from Kansas City USA !
I really love this watch.
The C6 Kingfisher is also a recent addition and a mega eBay bargain !!
This is my third C6 that I've owned and I needed one back in my collection.
The C7 Bluebird has been in my sights since it was released really and I've lusted after one since.
I have finally purchased one, from a forum member actually who is truly the most understanding guy in the world it seems
This will be here next month hopefully and there is a good story with it relating to fate
So my collection has settled down to where every watch I have I love and none will be for sale, they are all keepers.
I still have one space in my watch box....I had intended to purchase the Bluebird at CWL Towers next February for my 45th Birthday but this one popped up at a great price and as I said earlier, it had a story that to me meant it was The Bluebird for me.
I may get another CW in February for my birthday, all down to available funds around the time really.
The C65 White dial being foremost in my mind for that special occasion of my birthday and actually visiting CWL.
I'd like to thank everyone on this great forum for the friendship and kindness and good humour over the last 3 years that I've been here and I'm looking forward to many many more years enjoying this forum and Christopher Ward.

Congratulations on reaching this milestone. Quite an achievement. What better way to show your commitment to the brand than by this SOTC; thanks for sharing. Here's to the next 10K.

Re: My 10,000th Post & Current SOTC
Thank you guys
I forgot to mention that I also really enjoy doing the eBay listings. Ian started it first and I came onboard and shared the workload and now it's myself and PaulWB.
Undoubtedly this has rocketed up my post count tremendously.

Well done indeed Mini!
You may be interested to know that I was the original owner of FLE 58. I went through the whole selection processes and voted at each turn. Having done so, I felt obliged to buy the one I had voted for all along: the red C60. I chose number 58 simply as it is my birth year. However, although I admired the watch and wore it a few times, my beloved C5 Aviator mk1 remained my number one watch. So, when Macca threw out a wish for one, I responded. I didn't expect him to move it on within days - but it's a free world!
