Toast wrote:The comments are homophobic, even if only mildly... "gay" was used as a derogatory term. Not exactly Hitler, but a little poor taste :p

Hoping that's not the final design, though, as I basically agree with the rest of the post. Too much orange, and with the red... the colour scheme was ok before, so far as I recall (on the mobile right now, so can't quite be bothered to dot back & forth making comparisons).

The date window's an improvement, though. I do wonder if it's a close enough "tribute" to accept all those aftermarket sub bezels Cousins sells? ;)
I accept 'poor taste' , but 'mildly homophobic' is a bit like 'slightly pregnant'

Can't quite fathom the meaning in your last paragraph... :? Cousins??

Hmmm, Watch (edited as this said what before...silly iPhone... oops hope it not offended) looks good. The other comments.... you can not please every one all of the time.

Having shown the comments to my gay friends, they agree that they would wear the watch.... offended no flattered yes.

Me neither.

Kip wrote:You guys should know that those photos of all the new releases were part of testing.

I am told that we were not supposed to see them and that even the prices may be wrong as well as dates.

What I don't know is if these are prorotype photos (I don't think so) or drawings. Still working on getting the correct info as to options, colors etc. I am pretty sure, though, that the C9's are due in September as stated in that thread.

You may even get it at the GTG before I do if you ask nicely.
I am slightly concerned now as I have preordered this watch!

In fact I just had a call from someone from customer services confirming some details of the order as there had been a glitch and the order had not gone through. Why would they be doing this if the watch shouldn't be pre-ordered? The fact that the price has not even confirmed worries me most.

Should I ring and cancel?

Personally I rather like the orange with red hands.

As I have said before - I would prefer the date to be at 6 o'clock (and with a black background), but that isn't going to stop me buying one.

A September release would also be in time for my birthday, so I will just wait on the real release :)

I'm with you Robin CB. My birthday is at the end of August so a prezzie to myself.

I like the orange with the red hands to.
Lets just hope CW doesn't bring out to many colour options at a later date and confuse my simple mind over what to do :?

It may be back (I hope). As Kip says those were test pages that went up and should not have been seem. I would be worried about using a web hoster that can not keep the test site secure from the public.
