I would hope any day now. I'll bet Hans will be the first to know.

Whatever the C8 ends up looking like i hope Chris applies lot of quality lume if used as i thought the lume on the Kingfisher was quite weak 8)

Yeah I hope they spend a bit more time on the lume too.

Obviously cost will be an implication, so feel free to put the price up, if need be.

The chunkier the better.

I really like big watches, (Ala Stowa Pro Divers and Oris TT1 Divers). And so do consumers and the market.

Actually, more stainless steel/ Titanium / Carbon chunk would drive sales in my opinion.

When are they going to release the final info on the pilot ?

More mechanical watches please ! More movements please ! Doesn't need to be ETA all the time. Hound Wound Movements are Ok too!

Delivery and packaging is already great so leave that alone.

Don't care if prices have to go up as a result!

Just don't go up as much as Stowa, as I won't buy so many.

Really not interested in the Quartz movements.

Abandon them I say!

Wonder what Quartz to Mechanicial sales are in percentage terms ?

Rant Ends

Welcome to the asylum. To much coffee today? I agree it would be nice to see a hand wind come along. Titanium is a good option also I think.

Seeing this watch makes me reconsider my attitude towards "larger" (say, greater than 42mm) watches. This just looks so well designed; I absoutely love the open window with "wing" lines on the back. Oi... along with the C1 Russell, I might seriously consider this one for purchase later this year

I'm looking forward to seeing the real thing now. I wouldn't normally go for such a large watch but I'm thinking about it now. Might have to download some images and make up a reference to look at like El tiempo did for the C15.

Based on a conversation I had with Chris recently, I think the lume on the C8 will be much better than it was on the C6. Just my opinion.

Neither was I, but I think Chris is taking this very seriously and taking steps to fix it.

That good.
That's what i like about Chris,he listens.
The C6 is a great watch and i love both of mine, maybe you and me are a little spoilt owning Seiko monsters but even compared to his other watches the C6 is poor

Have you ever seen a Seiko sawtooth in person? It's a quartz, but the lume is even better on it than on a monster.

And what I really love about the sawtooth (like the monster) is how easily the lume gets charged. You don't have to subject it to bright light for it to shine well. Sometimes, I will be in a store at night, walk outside, and it glows like crazy. Really nice.
