Re: C2 Sneak Preview
I personally like the watch, and so far out of all the watches it's the one I'm leaning towards most - probably because I've just bought an auto tonneau, otherwise the C15 would be next on the list.
However, I feel that perhaps some simple changes to the indices and hands to bring in cues from other CW watches might make it an even more attractive proposition (as would an automatic calibre!), if someone proficient with photoshop could put the indices and hour/minute hands from the C4 on there (not the triangle at 12 mind you, just the regular hour indices) and put a slimmer blued second hand (silver face, red on black?).
Just my thoughts, as I say I am watching this one with interest.

Re: C2 Sneak Preview
Did anyone notice the strap size on this one? Are we sensing a trend here or am I missing something? Not quite sure it matters here since the attachment is different, but I hadn't noticed the 23.5mm size before.

Re: C2 Sneak Preview
I like it. A classic design. I'm not liking the C8/12/15 though tbh.

Good looking and stylish, day date looks good, but I've already got two quartz (ones a C3) and not looking for another. Looks a bit like an aqua terra, which is no bad thing. I think I might get it with the leather strap if it's an auto.
Re: C2 Sneak Preview
Hmmm...
I wonder if Chris might consider making this with an ETA 2836.
Perhaps a future special for forum members ?

Look at the face! It's perfect and its got to be an ETA 2836-2, wright? Tell me it's not!
Re: C2 Sneak Preview
It's got to be an auto. It's a smart looking watch and it deserves to be an auto - Chris!

CW
Are you listening? I really like this watch. To make this anything other than an auto would a total contradiction of its classic look and you wouldn't sell as many. "We have spoken"!

Re: C2 Sneak Preview
Actually, I think this watch will be very popular. This styling is poplar the world over. It fits in just about every fashion situation from business, casual, to formal. Not everyone is a gear head like us. I think quartz is the right choice for this watch. It will make this watch very affordable and put a nice swiss watch within reach of the masses. This has the potential to be CW's most popular watch.

Re: C2 Sneak Preview
Actually, you guys might be interested to know that Chris is considering putting an automatic in this model if the quartz version takes off. From a recent conversation:
[Joe] That C2 prototype is good looking, but many on the forum have stated they would like it to be
mechanical/automatic.
[Chris] Whilst we will kick off on this with a Quartz...the case has been designed to take a manual wind at a later date ...dependant on the uptake of the model....
...
Then we start discussing Sellita movements and the possibility of CW using them.
[Joe] But, I can't help but think their 2836-2 equivalent would make the C2 much more desirable.
[Chris] It's a good shout...if the model is taken up then this is the movement we are considering...

Re: C2 Sneak Preview
A good candidate for the LE auto, it would give Chris the opportunity to set up the processes
necessary to go into a open production auto in the future as well...
