Is rubber touch leather strap truly waterproof?
as per the title, the product description says it is waterproof but at the end it says ''the ideal companion for any watch that likely to be doused in serious amounts of water from time-to-time''. https://www.christopherward.co.uk/events/straps/rubber-touch-leather-strap-with-black-stitch-sports-cla...

Re: So what positions do you use to speed/slow your cw?
not really the movement you are looking for but the rolex advice to slow down a watch (position 3 that is) seemed to apply to my c5 slimline when I was experimenting with it.

to my understanding the x ray machine is not magnetic. The body scanner you walk through may use magnetic technology however.
So I guess it is safer, as far as magnetism is concerned, to put the watch through the x ray machine rather than keep it on you.

In my view, the C5 malvern quartz in Green on bracelet is one of the few current CWard offerings that will look appropriate for women too. (I am saying that of course because they are basically marketed as men's watches as far as I am aware). http://www.christopherward.co.uk/watches/dress/c5qmk2/c5-...

Re: The CW model, is it the future of the Watch Industry?
I think this is a very interesting question because the whole way of buying and delivering products to customers has changed a lot. Generations after the 90s are growing in a world where most things can be purchased with a few clicks. I am unfortunately only referring to specific geographical locati...

Re: Max you would spend on 1 watch before you started collec
My experience on this may sound a bit odd because I understand most people are willing to spend more after they learn about watches, their craftsmanship and what constitutes good features etc. Surprisingly though, learning about watches and the industry has had the opposite effect on me. I am now wi...

Re: CW strap question's
I have used the standard buckle on a C5 slimline daily for several months and unfortunately there is some wear and tear particulary around the hole the buckle pin goes through. The rest of the strap is absolutely fine and has maintained its looks to a great extent. I understand my watch has the stan...

Re: What Age Did (Or Will) You Peak?
I think this is a topic with multiple interpretations. In my view there is no single ‘peak’ throughout life but rather several ‘peaks’. Certain peaks are shared by all of us, for example it is safe to say that our physical peak, in terms of athletic ability, is probably between 22-30 or so. Outliers...

Re: Watches in Aircraft hold
another polite 'no' from me regarding putting watches in checked-in luggage. apart from losing the suitcase you also have to consider that airport staff can 'see' the watches when they xray the bags. Unfortunately this is not a perfect world so I wouldn't be surprised if the bag 'had to be opened fo...

Re: Newbie after some advice re C60 Trident Pro 600
in case you haven't bought the watch yet, like another member suggested I think that the lug-to-lug distance is very important for a good fit. my wrist is only slightly larger than yours at 7 inches but is more flat than round. My 43mm c60 sits perfectly on it and there is actually about 'half a cen...

I am very unhappy with CWL. (Panos, I congratulate you but spare a tear for my profound sense of loss.) I empathize with your problem. I too received the sales email late in the day. Had it not been for this forum I would have missed it too. Surely the only sensible way to get over this is with the...
