Re: C600 black (with green bits)

erlan - firstly, good luck with the search. They are cracking watches. I have both a C60 Kingfisher and a C60 Trident GMT. The cases for all three are the same, just with a different finish. All are 42mm. Although the C600 doesn't feel like it wears any bigger than the C60s, it does feel l...

Re: C600 black (with green bits)

A quick update on this one. The only issue was a bezel that would hardly move. That's now fixed its self. I think something was stuck in there. I wore it in the shower one day and the bezel has moved freely since. For a watch I wasn't sure about, it's swiftly becoming a favourite.

Re: C700 on Kevlar

After a few weeks on this strap, I've decided to keep it this way. I must be the only person on here who is not that struck on the C700 on a bracelet. :D The Kevlar is comfortable, waterproof and looks good (to my eyes at least).

Re: A new arrival

Thank you for all the good wishes.

Many congratulation to you too Jape. I trust that the baby box is full of useful stuff! My other half is Finnish and is sorry to miss out on one since she lives here in the UK. :( It's a great idea.

Re: Watch Setting - Accurate time??

I'm now going to look at emerald time, thanks. I've always just used the kitchen clock - one of those ones that updates its self remotely. I assume it's accurate.

A new arrival

Now that I have a a moment to myself I am pleased to announce that Esther Olive Rae was born on Friday at 14.36. 7lbs 11oz. We are all well, but very tired already. I am so proud of her older sister, our two and a half year old Frida. She's already proving to be an excellent big sister. :thumb...

Re: Which and Why?

When I first got into watches it was quartz, and didn't see any point in paying more for autos. At one point I'd 17 CWL quartz watches, and a few more have passed through my hands. Then I bought an auto - a C8. Now I'm at 15 watches, only 5 of which are quartz. The reason is as has already been said...

Great photos. So do I buy one of these or wait and hope for a C60 Kingfisher in orange?

I do like this version of the C7 - MkI sub dial arrangements in the MkII style.

It's great to see one of these out and about. I still think I need to arrange a trip to Maidenhead to see this and the red in the metal.
