Re: Let's hear it for the Royal Mail/Parcel Force

Not had this one before, so thought I would share. I don't buy that much on ebay, a quick scan I bought 5 items in the last 3 months, mostly low value stuff and nothing exciting. Anyway I purchased a cheap watch box last week, from a UK seller (although you never truly know) and it was someone I hav...

Re: Quoting Posts and Referring to Members

The forum probably needs an extension like the link below, to fire a notification to the user. No idea whether it's compatible, but it's a handy notification to have.

Re: Watchfinder Experiences

I started this thread and have had a few good trades with them over the years since the aquatimer. However I’ve recently enquired about a watch and was made a quite ridiculous offer for my part exchange. I then replied to say what I thought its actual trade value was and highlighted another watch o...

Re: Forum independance?

I run a car forum and you are only truly independent if you don't rely on third-parties for IT help or financial assistance. This forum is biased because it's close to CW who I assume fund it, support it with IT, do forum editions and insights into new models. It is a sales tool and it's pretty obvi...

Very petty and as a Rolex owner I would not associate the Oyster & Pop clocks and brand with them.

Snippet from today's TradingView email. “We recently created the world’s first international trading watch. We partnered with Christopher Ward to create a limited edition (only 500 pieces) watch with crystal flat top sapphire, brushed & polished steel, water resistance 150m, interchangeable stra...

Re: NEW: Tradetime

Trading View users have a username and can login with that or email address from memory - I'm sure they wouldn't share that with a third-party such as CW in order to generate unique codes. In my experience anyone who trades regularly understands when markets open and close and don't need a watch for...

Re: NEW: Tradetime

I use TradingView and received an email on the 10th - only just read it today, no biggy for me because I wouldn't have bought one.

This is the blurb that was sent out last week.

Subject line: The world's first trading watch.

Re: eBay Baybee

After using my dormant account in September Was that just a regular seller account that hadn’t been used for a while? That may be the situation I’m in. Trouble is I find phone calls fiendishly stressful, and there’s certainly no way I could argue with an eBay rep about the disgracefulness of his al...

Re: eBay Baybee

After using my dormant account in September I also had a £500 monthly selling limit, which was enough for a few transactions, but after several months and zero issues with sales the limit didn't change. I contacted cust services, explained their algorithm is useless and could they increase the limit...

Re: Selling Collection For Grail Watch

I sold most of mine after consolidating since the summer. Rationale for me was I had too many 'nice' watches (approx 20) which had already reduced from close to 40 and although they were there, I rarely wore them. Given what is happening in the world I made the decision to sell the ones I wore the l...

Re: Let's hear it for the Royal Mail/Parcel Force

I always sell on a Buy It Now and only when it's reduced fees - but never let it auto relist because you'll then be charged the full fees.
