Re: To keep or to sell? THIS is how to decide!

I know this is a watch forum, but I'm always curious as to exactly WHY after the apocalypse anyone would need to accurately know the time. It's not like you'd have a train to catch is it? No, no trains but remaining rebel survivor groups might need to synchronise times for attacking the aliens. Any...

Re: Experience of the eBay Authentication Service

^^ OMG, what a shambles. It is certainly sad to read of your troubles and must be so frustrating and worrying for you. I hope that the final outcome is satisfactory for you and the seller. For the benefit of me and anybody else not familiar with the eBay Watch Authenticity Guarantee service please c...

Re: To keep or to sell? THIS is how to decide!

Hopefully this won't happen until technology has moved on sufficiently for me to have a wrist based combined transporter and tricorder. If not hopefully I'll have bought a Garmin smartwatch instead of an Apple watch as it'll give me over a week of power opposed to 1 day and I'll still be able to use...

Re: CWL of the day

Not a cramped dial at all I’d say. Comes in new CW packaging as well [emoji106]. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240126/43faa451bfd8a32592ecd53f600f80b3.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Looks good on you  Also I'm glad to see that CW have reduced the size of their packaging as I c...

Re: Smart Watches and the Smaller Watch Trend

Is it a “trend”, “blitz” or is the increase of watches in 36mm purely an expansion of available sizes by brands sympathetic to those with skinny wrists and preference for small(er) watches? I used the word “trend” in a recent post as the CW release was just a day or so after Farer released the 36mm ...

Re: Time variance for date flip? 1:00 vs. 12:00?

I'm generally asleep at 1200 and 0100 so wouldn't be a problem for me either way but I've always assumed the date changeover would happen between 2355 and 0005 so something else I've learnt on here.

Re: 25.1.24 teaser

As I've said before 36mm is not for me as it's too small (my 3hand 39mm Sealander is perfect) but good for CW that they've looked at it for those people that need/like the 36mm size. The Sealander GMT is an excellent looking watch so hopefully this will be a great addition for CW and potential buyer...

Re: 25.1.24 teaser

36mm....more wee watches  I'm still holding out hope that the 36 doesn't signify the dial size. The "trend" for small watches is as bad as the push of LARGE (45mm upwards) watches was some years ago. Of course that's purely IMO but I didn't buy any of the large dials so won't b...

I was thinking "That's ideal for me, exactly what I'm looking for." then I saw the 36mm size :(
Their showroom isn't too far away from me so I might still take a look in case it wears bigger than it measures.

LITTLE BLACK BLACK BLACK BLACK DIVER.... So - i love the C60 pro 600 little black diver, but wearing it brought out even darker thoughts.... i've been hankering for a while after a very black watch. All black. Black case, dial, bezel, strap. I've wondered about the Marloe Pacific and the Formex leg...
