Re: New Omega Moonwatch - the "Daniel Craig" White Dial
Simply put, it's great! As for limited production watches, or limited release watches, it's not a new concept, and many brands have done so in the past, including Omega. And as for prices! Well, many of the big boys and others, CW included, have been raising them, some more than others. The Swiss w...

Re: New Omega Moonwatch - the "Daniel Craig" White Dial
What are people's thoughts on this? Launching tomorrow (apparently) - I spoke to OB on Regent street and they cannot confirm that that is what is being released tomorrow, but were happy for me to be put on the wait list of such watch if it's released! I understand there is a launch even tomorrow at...

Re: Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update
I don't know how much has been released about the likely specifications of it but they expect it to have sapphire crystal on front and back, to be a readily available model (eventually?) and sell around the price level of the standard black dial version. I guess we'll know tomorrow. Interesting tha...

Re: Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update
Sounds like a great result, and well worth a train ride. I am sure that can only persuade you (and many of your readers) to buy Omega again with confidence. Thanks for providing the update too. :D Agree, a great result for the £26 cost of an off-peak train ride. First time I've been "Up West&q...

Re: Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update
everything sounds great except the 10 weeks part (i know it's not out of line with the big brands' service lead times). that would really suck if anyone here was a true one-watch person. TBH I'm so happy about the cost being waived and the overall outcome that if it is 10 weeks then that'll be OK f...

Re: Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update
Thanks Neil. I nearly added some words onto my update re. the forthcoming white dial Moonwatch so in answer to your question..... I made an off-the-cuff remark about it while chatting in the Boutique and was told I could go onto the relatively short waiting list. Oh dear! Despite my comments previou...

Moonwatch pusher fallen off - update
I promised an update re. the pusher problem on my Moonwatch. There’s a few posts on the Non-Curmudgeon topic from 27 Feb if anybody wants to read the background in full detail but otherwise the summary is ….. 22 Feb The cap of the bottom (reset) pusher dropped off while I was waiting to pick up my c...

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner
@Mikkei4 I reckon if you sent it directly to omega pointing out that the pusher dropped off just outside warranty they would do something for you. Surely they can't be made in a way that they could just detach? A real problem is finding an insured carrier at the watch value that's likely to be invo...

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner
@Mikkei4 Out of interest do you know why you haven’t been quoted the standard cost of £825? Seems rather a loading to get to £1,000, bearing in mind the £825 includes replacement pushers etc.. where required. :problem: 15740112-AA6E-4F4D-97C9-87EFB31CA13B.png Neil Hi Neil, Thanks for your reply. Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner
I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this here or in the Curmudgeons topic. Bad news - 1 of the pusher caps on my Speedy dropped off while I was collecting my car from servicing. Good news - fortunately I felt it hit my foot, saw it on the showroom carpet and picked it up  Bad news...

Re: Falling out of love
Seems to me it doesn't matter which of the delayed special watches someone is waiting for. The OP ordered his 2 watches in March 2023 presumably paying the money for both, had been told November 2023 and we're now close to March 2024, a year after the initial order and he still has no idea when he m...
