Poor power reserve on C9 Big Day Date
So my C9 Big Day Date has an ETA 2836-2 movement which should be good for at least 38 hours on a full wind. Just had it serviced and it's now scraping by on no more than 33 hours on a full wind. This is with the watch stored in my watch box with the dial up although having tried it face down and on ...

I got a Speedhawk C40 quite by chance, found the forum and have been enthusiastic about the brand ever since.

Re: How long does it take to refund?
Another reason not to use PayPal if you already have a credit card. Works the other way round too, if you're selling and get paid via PayPal, they will "hold" onto the funds for a few weeks before releasing.

Re: Where is the NN section on the website???
Overnight, I saw several watches whittled down to just one that was then gone that afternoon. Have to be quick with NN.

Re: Chat with CW 9th June 2016 Transcript
Many thanks for taking the time to type up the notes. I picked up this from the transcript: 1. The new logo is here to stay, Chris et al like it lots. 2. There will be consideration on placement of the logo. 3. There may be some consideration on alignment of the logo. 4. The aim of the logo is to op...

Re: Is my brand new C60 Trident GMT 600 faulty?
Here are three pictures with the hour hand set to 12 noon. Picture 1 shows the GMT hand is slightly off the 12 mark on the bezel, it's pointing to the 1 instead of between the 1 and 2. http://i68.tinypic.com/eknajk.jpg Picture 2 shows what happens if I put the crown in position 2 to advance the GMT...

Re: Never owned an automatic before
Take a look at the CW watches with the SH21 auto movement which gives 5 days power reserve. When you take the watch off at the end of your shift, it might just stretch until when you start work again so is ready to go without any winding (the 5 days is not an apprximation, it can be a little more or...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Had an estate agent round the other day to value the place and he was wearing a CW. We spent a good 10 mins talking about watches which was a lot more interesting than the marketing spiel about selling houses.

Re: Chat with Chris 2016 poll
the left aligned logo at 12 looks completely out of balance to me. Do you think this looks better? http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a554/OllyW64/0222_zpsddm1knv4.jpg Dear god that Is what I want. That is awesome. +1 Is this a mock-up, prototype or sneak preview? Chris mentioned last year in an e...

Re: How do you sell your watches?
Forgot to mention that on eBay, PayPal may hold your money for a few weeks in case the buyer is not happy and to also deter scammers. There doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule for this, I've sold watches for £400 overseas and got the money straightaway and I've sold them for £800 domestically an...

Have to say I hate small second hands. If I buy an automatic, I want to see that second hand sweep dammit!
