Re: Some news from our CEO Mike France about Bel Canto

Interest in further LE Bel Cantos has been quickly established. Considering there are 2500+ on the waiting list, I suspect the reason of this mass e-mail is to gauge if there is enough interest for an open series chiming watch.

Re: Pre-launch Revival Model Exclusive

Since the C8 Pilot "Revival" will consist 200 steel and 50 black DLC finishes, how will the serial numbers be allocated?

Re: What's new for CW in 2022? The rumor mill post

Green is definitely popular, but based on past experiments, it doesn't seem like the CW has enough appeal for green. A green C60 Sapphire would be a safe guess. You could be right. I've assumed that CW wouldn't stop at three dial colours. There is also the possibility for translucent dials. It'll b...

Re: What's new for CW in 2022? The rumor mill post

I was just wondering, since the Abyss SH21 appears to sell well and the Concept sold out in over four weeks, would an 'Abyss Concept' be probable?

Re: James Webb Space Telescope

Fingers crossed that all of its components deploy properly. It would be extremely disappointing if something went wrong. So far, so good. I watched a short TV show in this telescope and the work put into making sure it deploys correctly was astonishing. As an engineer, it was truly overwhelming to ...

At the moment, baby steps. By the end of the decade, it is expected that there will be a few space stations in orbit and one in lunar orbit. Research in ion propulsion is ongoing.

Re: James Webb Space Telescope

I've heard of this telescope but I never read anything about it. Thanks for providing the links. I certainly didn't expect it to be well past lunar orbit. I'm excited to learn of what distant (back in time) information it discovers. Fingers crossed that all of its components deploy properly. It woul...

Re: Same Watch Different Color

When I bought my first CW, I had the mindset of not owning more than one of the same model (of anything).

I currently own three C60s (a DLC Vintage Pro, a red GMT, and a bronze ombré LE). That policy was thrown out the window after the second watch.

Re: C60 Concept

Heat blued nuts and bolts? Would that be easier than cutting threads into plates? Cutting threads into the plates isn't difficult. It's the equivalent to drilling a hole twice. A problem with using nuts is that the movement's overall thickness would increase. The nuts could be recessed into the pla...

Re: C60 Concept

The only slight improvement, in my opinion, would be applied indices on the ring that slightly protrude pass its inner diameter. Agreed, the “teeth” that are on the inside of the ring are all but invisible. My thoughts are that maybe these should have been lumed too, although that might just break ...

Re: C60 Concept

As a techie, I have a strong appreciation for skeleton watches. I was hoping that CW produce one in the C1 case but the C60 is really nice. The only slight improvement, in my opinion, would be applied indices on the ring that slightly protrude pass its inner diameter. Its lume pictures remind me of ...

Re: Any new CWs in the pipeline?

If the green C63s sells well, would it be safe to assume there will be other green dial models (C60 Sapphire, C60 Pro Bronze, et cetera)?
