Re: Incoming C65...

Congratulations! Having spent days agonising over which C60 to order, I've now decided that the C65 with white dial will suit me far better because of the almost unlimited choice of strap colours that I can use to give a different look to the watch. I like Hirsch straps. They're good quality and com...

Re: What do you all do for a living?

Retired teacher. Had a wide and varied range of managerial responsibilities but am most proud of the fact that I could still cut it in the classroom, even with the most difficult students, when I left :)

Re: Which wrist do you wear your watch on - and why?

Left wrist / right handed. I flirted with wearing a watch on the right for a while but found it got in the way too much when desk driving a computer mouse. One of my nephews is the only right-handed member of that branch of the family - his parents and older brother are all lefties who wear their wa...

Re: And now..Black trident with blue bezel - DEEP BLUE!!!

I had a bit of a panic when I saw the email a few minutes ago. Is this "Deep Blue" the same colour as the blue bezels on the white-faced version? I've just done a side-by-side comparison and can't make up my mind although common sense says they must be the same. The blue in the email pic d...

I wish I could claim author's rights but I copied them from an email received a few days ago. It won't take long for you to realise how true they are :D They definitely deserve to be shared.

A mailshot from Sainsbury's with "An Early Bird Christmas Offer Enclosed". We haven't even had the longest day yet ....... .......... and I'm sure I won't remember between now and then that spending 3000 (£15) of Nectar points in November/December will bring me a reward of £7.50 in...

Re: No GMT option for the white face/blue bezel Trident Pro?

Thanks for that. I'll wait to see if any more answers pop up and then perhaps contact CS with the query.

Not having the GMT available in my chosen colour combo is just making me want it! Maybe it's a cunning ploy to boost sales ......

No GMT option for the white face/blue bezel Trident Pro?

Just wondering really, as I'm not sure I want the GMT but I definitely want the white/blue colour combo. I thought I saw the GMT in these colours a few days ago but now I can't find it :? I'm still waiting hopefully for next month's (?) discount so haven't ordered yet. It just seems odd that the GMT...

Thanks downer, you just gave me a good giggle. When I put up an avatar it will be either of my dog or of my...

Re: The Cars I Have Owned

I love threads like this! My list is a bit mundane because I got stuck on Vauxhalls for so many years - they suited me for some reason that made sense at the time. All cars privately owned from new unless otherwise stated. Triumph 1500, can't remember the model, burgundy red. My first car, 2nd hand,...
