Re: Longines Conquest VHP
I had a VHP three-hander for a few months. It was very nicely finished, a good size, had lovely brushing and a beautiful caseback. What eventually caused me to move it one was that I couldn't get a good enough fit with the butterfly clasp. In addition, I wasn't keen on the idea that changing the bat...

Re: New CW Releases - Jan 2020 - C60 Elite 1000
I’m wondering if at 15mm thick and so about 2mm thicker than the equivalent Trident it might be a bit too chunky for me. I’d love to see one for real or comparison wrist shots. It feels like a great shot at giving watches like the Pelagos a run for the money.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Never heard of them till a friend tipped me off. Here in US you don’t see them at all. A couple of years ago I saw a chap wearing a white C60 in a bar/burger joint in downtown Atlanta. He seemed genuinely delighted that some random Brit had bumped into him and complemented him on his choice of wris...

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride
^^ Thanks for that! 9k in seven months is quite some going! Very impressed you're riding it through the colder months when so many (mine included) are relegated to a charger and SORN. I've not tried the 1250 yet, but all reports so far seem to indicate that the variable cam is pure witchcraft with a...

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride
How are you getting on with the GS Richard?
Must be six months or so in? I'm so tempted to swap out my '05 1200GS for a newer GS at some point but do start to get palpitations sat in front of the configurator after adding the usual farkels like luggage etc.

Re: CW hints at what's new in 2020
Due to the continued success of the military line and CW's expansion into the American market, I predict an American military theme watch could be added to the lineup. Here's a design for the US market..... https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb36/aberlour/616INRmp8-L._UY445__zpsuegqxkll.jpg Hands ...

Re: "Crown Sore"???
Yes, I've had that quite a lot from my C60 v2's. Not at all painful, just a noticable raised red patch from scuffing against the crown after several day's wear. The v2 crown did have quite sharp edges which were radiussed off as part of the v2.5 facelift C60 which has all but alleviated the 'problem...
