Re: IE11 Pinned sites
Wait, there are people under 80 who use IE? Only at work, though, right?

Re: A new watch ?
Looks nice. I like the jazzmaster range, but that blue looks grey on the renderings so it will be good to see real pictures. Congrats.

Re: World Cup Draw
Please credit us with the ability to read Turned out Robert didn't even have that. Poor guy. The bad man used facts and words instead of pictures and puns. Best get back to page 3 I guess. Find out what Sharon, 19, Essex thinks. The ridiculous ad hominem aside, I can't help but feel that the advanc...

Re: World Cup Draw
Rooney, Cole, Gerrard, Lampard just to name a few who have been wanted by top European clubs. That they have decided not to go is another matter. These players are European medal winners so whose fault is it other than the manager if they are poor for England when they can turn out world class perf...

Re: 2013 C10 FLE CWL photos
I guess it's the flatter-than-expected dial and the extra prominence this seems to give to the batons at 3,6,9,12. I mean, I still like the watch, and think it would be nice to own, and it's just my opinion, and hopefully no one minds a comment like this on a picture thread, but there ya go. I like ...

Re: 2013 C10 FLE CWL photos
I hope the owners enjoy the watch.
I agree that it is similar to the C2FLE from 2009.
Most strangely, though, I think it is the first CWL I have seen that looks, to mine own eyes, worse in the flesh than in the design.

Where's the "oh look, the Laird is having a pointless poll and I think he's a retard" option?

That's a lovely watch and a great addition to the collection. It also trumps the C9 World Timer hands-down. Well done!

Re: Watch insurance?
I have, every now and then, looked into the various options including the oft-recommended Hiscox but the premiums were almost as much as my collection! My current, normal house insurance covers my watches with a half dozen named on the policy (as they were over the normal single item limit - adding ...

Wow. Congratulations, Kip.
I must confess I was wondering if Ian or Gary (Helix) would beat you but you've stuck to the cause.
What a collection that must make. Are we due the treat of another SotC from Kip Towers?

Re: Other Watch Forums
I have no problem with eddie defending his watches - it is his forum after all. I'm pretty sure that if someone came on here with a real grudge against Christopher Wards they'd probably be escorted to the door eventually too. 10 I agree that Eddie has the right to do so but it is a shame that altho...

Re: Favourite film thread
Very difficult to pick three, but maybe The Shawshank Redemption The Good, The Bad & the Ugly Seven Samurai I would agree with Seven Samurai and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (both of which make my list) but I cannot stand the feel-good drivel of Shawshank (anyone who has seen any older Prison...

Re: Longines Master Retrograde Moon phase
That is a great watch. I am personally not fully convinced by the roman numerals but overall it looks great and is quite the fine timepiece. I have its partner-in-crime and find the dimensions and looks make it a very enjoyable dress watch to wear. http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n630/mortis_wat...

Great story and watch. Thanks for sharing Gary. Hopefully we'll see it at a GTG sometime!
