Upgraded C1 Moonglow
Just received email about C1 Moonglow - preorder end March 2024 I’m a bit confused, preorder for end of this month just 17 days away. Sometimes it takes ordinarily that long to despatch. Anyway I would be very wary of paying CW up front these days in light of some recent comments. It’s a pity becaus...

Re: Bezel uses
I never use my bezels or chronographs as intended.
I just like the look of them. They are my preferred style of watch.

Re: Six Nations 2024
I can’t believe from an English point of view I missed Saturdays games. Never missed an England game for years and this happens. Not to mention, the perfect weekend. Italy winning too, and to drag football into discussion Everton lost again. Fingers crossed for another points deduction. Is football ...

Re: January 2024 Sale
There seems to be some more watches on sale. Never seen the sale go on for this long with so many choices still up for grabs. Usually it’s just a few of the less popular ones that hang around. There’s a couple I’m interested in, but so far have resisted. C65 Chronograph and the Anthropocene. Not su...

Re: What are you listening to right now ?
After seeing a question on a TV quiz, I’ve been listening to Paddy Reilly singing “The Fields Of Athenry” A beautiful poignant song about a deportation to Australia during the Potato Famine. The question was which was written first. This one, Flower of Scotland or Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. Answer:- ...

Re: FLE on straps
the FLE does work well with a few straps as alternatives to the bracelets. Neil Thanks Neil, for not jumping on me :D But I think most watches can work with any number of strap/bracelet alternatives. For some reason, the FLE (maybe due to the delay) seems to have taken on a mythical quality of bein...

Re: FLE on straps
I have to admit a certain amazement at the constant changing of straps. It’s almost as if the watch is not good enough as it was designed, so you have to experiment to find a better look!! If you didn’t like it, and the options provided, as it was designed by the FLE team, why buy it!! My opinion, b...

Re: More CW Bader Straps/Clasps please?
I've said many times that I think the CW Cordovan (on the bader clasp) was the best strap available at any price. I agree, I have a couple. Both 20/22 mm with CW on clasp and without. Superb strap/clasp combo. Very, very neat and comfortable on the wrist Ironically, as I prefer bracelets I don’t us...
