Re: Non CW of the Day
Certainly did - got the bracelet version but also negotiated the OEM strap as part of the purchase....Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 5:13 pmYou got it. .neilj568 wrote:20200705_170500.jpg

Re: New arrival today (white SMP)
Thanks - I actually bought it on the bracelet and after some negotiation got the rubber strap as part of the deal from a UK based AD. I think the white dial looks fantastic on this and I put a lot of watches up for sale to fund it as my new policy is that any new purchases have to be paid for by sal...

Re: New arrival today (white SMP)
The black edged hands and hour markers make this a very legible white dial watch for my eyes.
I found my C60 COSC day/date to be almost illegible in certain lighting conditions but the Omega is superb and very legible.

Re: C8 Power Reserve in Steel
I have had one for two years. Simply, put CWE at its best. If I had to choose just one CW, this would be it. In the last month mine has gained 6 seconds while running continuously, though not necessarily worn, just wound more or less daily. The dial is a work of art, only appreciated in the flesh a...

Re: C8 Power Reserve in Steel
I'm debating adding a CW to my collection, and the one that has sparked my interest is the C8 Power Reserve in Steel. At $1875 its a significant purchase to me without being able to try one on in person. I like the looks and the fact that it has the CW in house movement. Any one dealt with one of t...

Re: Bahnstormer_vRS - CWs (plus) and Other Brands - August 2019
How you manage all those Guy is way beyond me! Awesome. Simple really. I have a number of watch boxes. Take a watch out, wear it, put it back. Simples. (sorry, being flippant). In reality; with difficulty. I have a fabled Excel Spreadsheet, on which I record each watch and details of t...

Re: Trident mk3 vs Omega SMP
The Omega is far more legible than the CW and has a better dial balance (mainly for the obvious reasons). I prefer the dial blobs over the batons and I'd have concerns about the legibility of the CW in certain light conditions. That said the CW is good value for money but given the choice (and cash)...
