Re: FLE #8 design submissions
So if it were a no date C60, we wouldn't be able to move the "christopher ward" text to 12 like the dartmoth? I was going to do a mockup, but figured I'd ask before I waste time... Logo wouldn't look good at 9:00 without the date window to balance it.

Re: FLE #8 model selection round 2
Wonder if they can do a thinner C60. Drop the WR to 300. Could be a simple adjustment if it means a thinner caseback.

Re: Reduce desk diving damage
I use one of these although not for the purpose of protecting my watch. That said it keeps your wrist completely off of the table so no damage to the watch while typing.

I've had 18 come and go. Currently own zero but have one coming next week. We'll see!

There has been A LOT of work put into updating that archive. I applaud those who spent the effort doing it.Macdaz wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 3:45 pm Take a look at the archive here:https://cwarchive.knack.com/cwarchive#home/
You can find the exact model and it will give you some more details and info on resale value

Re: Is this a good price
I assume you're talking about the standard C11 MSL Automatic but as long at it is in excellent condition, it's a decent price regardless of model. Perhaps a steal if they are offering you the C11 makaira, elite, or extreme.

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #5
Based on a few FLE/CWE experiences, you're going to need more in the range of 35-40 votes for a run of 25 watches so there is a long ways to go yet (in my opinion). A few drop out when the time comes to put the deposit down and a few more along the way prior to shipment. That said... the likely outc...

Re: They have to go!
Taking another angle, but possibly a more gruesome one. The kiddos may not have any interest now, but when the day comes when we are no longer around it may represent to them something that you loved and that they would like to keep (whether to wear, or hang onto). My wife did just that with her fat...

Here's a high res on #3. Unfortunately I don't feel like doing all 5 options but others are welcome to modify the second hand as needed.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
Not necessarily wishful thinking Frank. Since the thread that you linked being started a year ago, CW have taken on board the desire for a Field / Military watch (or may well have been thinking of it prior) and are due to release a ranges of watches this autumn, that have full approval of the Briti...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
Another question is whether CW had access to any other case hardening treatments/scratch resistant coatings that keep the steel color?

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
Kip, throwing out another idea completely different here but do notice a number of comments stating “yet another diver”. Is it possible to make a “field watch” with the 40mm C60 case with crown guards. Essentially the C65 vintage in a larger size with crown guards and more of a “sporty” “field” dial...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
The "ghosted" logo as you call it is the embossed logo. Pretty much cost prohibitive. Referring to just printing the logo white which I believe is how the twin flag logo is on the C60 no? Embossing would be the twin flag logo on the C65 diver. Either way, I don't see CW willing to print i...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
A bit confused here. I have looked again at the voting and whilst it is clear that the favoured combination would appear to be a 42 mm GMT with the two tone bezel, I noticed that all the mock ups being featured show a white dial. I didn’t see any option to vote for that, so I am wondering if there ...
