Re: How good is Chr. Ward water resistance?
I have an old Pulsar that is rated to 100m/10Atm water resistance. For about six years it was my only watch. At the time I was under the impression that 100m water resistance meant just that - I could go 100m deep under water with no ill effects. As a result I wore it for everything. Washing dishes,...

Print for me too. It's easier to read than staring at a poxy screen, and is more pleasant to store and re-read at a later date.

Re: CW watch suggestions
I'd be extremely happy with any of the suggested options, so long as they were available in 38mm sizes. The first one would probably be my favourite for smarter day-to-day wear for work. This usually requires shirt and tie, so this quiet, subtle, retro aesthetic would fit in very well indeed. Howeve...

Early Delivery!
At Christmas I bought one of CW's Trident 600 Vintage watches in the sale. To me it was perfect - smaller size, robust, elegant. Unfortunately, it developed a few issues (erratic timekeeping and a very, very stiff hand wind) so was returned back to base under the 60/60 returns warranty for some TLC....

Re: Warranty Issue? Or Local Watchmaker?
My understanding is that a magnetised watch does tend to run fast rather than slow, ao I'd definitely follow Kip's advice and give that another shot. After that, a return and repair I think. I found an old Seiko I had a while back suddenly went mad in its timekeeping. At one point it was gaining abo...

Re: C60 Power reserve
I kind of like the dial the way it is.
A power reserve indicator would be useful, just so long as it does not stick out like a sore thumb and wreck the balance of the rest of the dial...?

Re: New Orange C60...
I like the colour, it makes a refreshing change from many other watches out there and will really stand out on the wrist.
It's a shame it only comes in 43mm. I can only get on with CW's 38mm offerings, 43mm is just too big for me.

Re: Hmm not bad accuracy.
My C60 Trident 600 has gained 4sec over the last week, and I thought that was good!
I have another C60 Vintage back with CW for a bit of tlc at this very moment, I will be keen to see what accuracy it runs to when it is returned...?

Re: Dang!
My C60 is pretty similar. After a day of wearing it (normal activity levels, 06:00 - 10:30) I can not measure how much it gains/loses because it stays so close to real time.
The only time it gains is a fraction of a second when left to rest overnight

Re: Warranty repairs - what is your experience?
In my experience, warranty repairs from CW are second to none. In fact, it is one of the primary reasons that I have bought so many of their watches. I have had to return a couple under warranty. Both were, in fact, bought pre-owned off eBay and, although they were perfect in every other way, both h...

Re: 2mm
It would be a problem for me.. it wouldn't be so bad if the height was added above the lugs but it's added to the bottom so it won't sit as flush on your wrist anymore. Most of the weight is in the case/lugs so pushing that up higher will make it more top heavy. The standard C60 is at the upper hei...

Re: Trident-Pro C60 accuracy
On a similar, but different note, I tried to test the power reserve of my Trident this weekend... I noted that it stopped at just before noon on the Sunday. Rough calculation indicate a 38hr power reserve If you had checked the accuracy then you might have seen the best performance over the first n...

Re: Trident-Pro C60 accuracy
On a similar, but different note, I tried to test the power reserve of my Trident this weekend. The watch was worn for a full day on Friday (usual wearing pattern) and then taken off the wrist at 10:00pm. I left it crown up, as I usually do. I checked up on it (but without moving it) on and off over...

Re: What to expect from a showroom visit?
I'd really like to book an appointment too, especially to see some of the new models "in the flesh". I have a couple of older version Tridents, and they are probably two of my most worn and favoured watches. I do admit though that I got lucky when I ordered my first having never tried the ...
