Re: CWL of the day

@JasperCat @SlowLoris Thanks, Chaps. I was a little concerned about the size of this watch and how it would look on my wrist. I tried it on at the London GTG and felt it might be too big for me. However, I’ve also got my Dartmouth (same case) and the dial on the Cranwell is relatively busy so that m...

Re: CWL of the day

Cranwell just landed.
I took the supplied strap off it straight away and added this custom leather one instead. Looks perfect, wears like a dream and I’m as happy as a sand-boy :-)

Got all the emails etc confirming I should get delivery of mine on Monday
Fingers and toes crossed; I fully trust Christopher Ward, but DPD and I do not have the best working relationship...

Beautiful scenery and landscape!
My own watch looks slightly out of focus, just like yours. Must be an after effect of last night.., :-)

Happy New Year, keep safe.

Beautiful!
I love the steel bezel and black dial combo, one of my current favourites.

Re: CWL of the day

I’ve had this one on more than my others over the festive period. After all, who needs to k ow the day or date? I’m also really enjoying this different strap on it

Ah, yes. I thought there was a coated bronze version of something.
Thanks for clearing that up,

Re: Patina - C65 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC?

Many thanks to both.
I’m glad to see that some patina is possible, something was nagging in the back of my mind that this version was a bronze coating / PVD or equivalent and that patina was somehow prevented. IF I bag one, then I’d love to watch this develop.
Keeping fingers crossed...

Patina - C65 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC?

Bank balance is looking surprisingly healthy. New Tier 4 Lockdown has my mouse clicking lime a demon. Potential sale on the horizon... A perfect storm? I am looking to add a new specimen to the collection. It needs to be a diver, max of 41mm diameter, COSC certification and bronze. Prime candidate h...

Re: C W Ladies watches

Just seen a listing for a lady’s CW on eBay.
Not sure if it a model you are looking for (Amelia) but it seems like a decent enough listing.
Hope this helps, and keep safe,

Re: C W Ladies watches

Hello, and welcome to the forum / nut-house. Unfortunately, I think the future production of lady’s watches from CW will be thin at best. At their last get together in London (I think) this very question was raised and the answer was not promising. Only a few percent of their total sales were from f...
