Evening Lindsey. Glad to have you back girl. Can't really answer your question as I don't think that I have ever ended up with the watch I went in to get! Gotta admit, the old sales pages are a demon place to view and Jura have a lot to answer for. Sent from my Redmi Note 6 Pro using Tapatalk

^^^ Personally, I'm not convinced that we need that level of personal information on the forum - relating to a member of the CW team, past or present. I will edit the name to preserve some level of anonymity. Apologies, no offence meant. Post deleted. Florida Phil, can you please edit your post to ...

Re: more than one of one watch..
I have a few CW multiples, c60, C11, etc, and like Guy have a few Elliot Browns multiples (5 Cranford's and 5 Bloxworths if I remember correctly) My real soft spot is for the C8 series however, my favourite of the CW models. Currently the C8 box sits as below, (the Navitimer is a place holder until ...

Re: When was the last time you used your timer on your wrist trinket
Whilst I do use the chronograph function on a watch I don’t get why anyone would use a dive bezel for timing above the water. I get why they are used under the water, however do folk really get confused and disoriented on dry land? :) Oh look l have just parked my car for an hour, it’s now 9:40am. ...

@Smegwina VFR, IFR, ETA, VRP, ATC...yep I know what all those mean. I use mine for TSP, STE, GTD, HBE and SBE mainly. BTW, WTF is a UFC? Just burst out laughing in the middle of a meeting Steve. UFC is the Ultimate Fighting Championship! Probably right up your alley. Imagine a restaurant in Norwich...

on a chronograph: about 35 years ago, then got rid of all chronographs because I never used them (and so there was no need for their cluttered design) bezel: this morning for making tea Outside of the conversation above, I probably use the bezel more than the chrono. Bezels are bloody useful things...

This evening, to time the porridge in the microwave. Exploded after 3.5 minutes. (The porridge, not the watch.) Porridge is a dangerous game to play in the microwave. As is trying to microwave an egg in one of those plastic poacher things. Lethal. Sent from my Redmi Note 6 Pro using Tapatalk

Re: When was the last time you used your timer on your wrist trinket
Thanks for that. Every day is a school day! StrapMeister was spot on. Very simply, when navigating in Visual Flight Rules you fly a series of legs at a known heading and speed (taking wind speed and direction onto account as you can't fly in a "straight" line) that you have plotted. At th...
