Re: Seiko Temptations

Saw one of these yesterday whilst having a snoop around the watch section in Galeria Kaufhof. Price a tad on the high side, but looked superb in person. https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2018/10/04/seiko_prospex_great_blue_hole_special_edition_divers_200m_spb083j1_sbdc065_1538656331_...

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

^^^ I had recalled seeing one, but having checked, it's the 38.5mm which would wear much too large for me.

A fantastic price though for the sapphire caseback model!

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

I've had a soft spot for Nomos ever since I was introduced to them through the forum and finally got the chance to see the range in the metal yesterday while loitering around Berlin. The Orion had always been my pick of the bunch based on photos, but it lacked something in person. Much to my surpris...

Re: Best Shark Mesh Bracelets?

Fitted a cheap shark mesh onto my (now departed) 38mm Alpina. I made a slight curve in a set of standard springbars to allow enough space for the mesh links to fit, but these can obviously be bought off-the-shelf. Here's some photos to give an idea ... https://image.ibb.co/ibCXNm/IMG-20171114-220024...

Re: Baselworld News 2019

I'm glad I haven't got any "proper" fashion sense! I'll stick to Oxfords and Chino/Jeans :)

Some good looking metal on display, but the winner has to be the guy rocking the quartz Pulsar.

Would have seriously considered one of these had they not been so overdone.

Fine collection you had before, but these newbies trump them.

Get rid of the Ranger for an Explorer and you're done

Re: Atnits SOTC and consolidation help

Great foursome Anthony and thanks for sharing. If I really had to lose 2 of them, the Oris and Rolex would get chopped. You stated that you kept the Breitling in your first fire sale and it's your most worn. That has to count for something I reckon. Also, having owned an Omega SM120, I know that it ...

Re: C65 Trident GMT now on the CW website

One thing I've noticed on the CW site and I'm not sure whether it has been mentioned before, but CW appears to have now moved over to the Sellita SW330 GMT movement for the blue and Pepsi C65s. Black still shows ETA at present, guess that'll change after stock is exhausted.

Re: C65 Trident GMT now on the CW website

Great news. Wasn't a "fix" as such, but easier to identify whether there was an alignment issue or not. Glad you're all sorted though!

Re: C65 Trident GMT now on the CW website

Yes, the GMT hand adjusts in 1-hr increments(jumps).

Adjust the main hour hand to be bang on the hour before you adjust the GMT hand. The GMT hand should also be pointing to the hour.
If not, it sounds like it could misaligned.

Could you post a pic?
