Yep, that just about works. Very classy Sir, but we wouldn't expect anything less!

Re: CW beaten by Seiko? Vote now to help

Coming from someone who currently has the Dune GMT, has handled a few Alpinists and also owns a Seiko Laurel Alpinist re-interpretation, I can say hand on heart that the Seiko is nowhere near the watch that the Dune is. Visual preferences aside, CW's bracelet is much better than Seiko's. The finishi...

Re: CWL of the day

@StrappedUp That's one of the Watches@ LEs, isn't it, Ryan? Looks cool. Guy Certainly is. Had a little bit of luck getting hold of one and it has massively exceeded my expectations. Absolutely gorgeous watch, but also a royal pita to photograph well! Legibility on this model is outstandin...

Re: Non CW of the Day

ML Masterpiece has arrived and it's a thing of beauty! Guilloche 925 silver dial, curved heat blued hands, mirror polished indices and little shiny nipples around the outside of the dial. :D Officially a 40mm case, but wears more like a 38mm due to it being stepped. Oh, and changing the date on the ...

Re: Digging the escape tunnel

I've been trying to dig my escape tunnel for some time now, although this year, it has finally been done for me. I wasn't sure whether to post as I don't wish to derail the thread with sob stories, but it'll also explain why I've been quiet for a while. My own attempt started with me reducing my col...

Re: All you need is the name of a designer and BOSH!!!!!

I saw this the other day and was surprised to see "Swiss made" on the dial. It has the Sellita SW200 in it. Has Timex ever used a Swiss movement before? The S1 had a miyota and cost half as much as this. 40 years ago according to Timex marketing. The case is subtly different as well. The ...

Re: New moon phase watch

I’m very excited too! I think the Moonglow is a wonderful watch. There are so few moonphase watches with a contemporary look and a moon that actually features large on the dial. If this new watch is even more ‘less’ ( and has a meteorite dial which I’m guessing at ) then maybe this is the reason I ...

There's definitely something going on in the middle of the dial with some odd shaped hands extending from it, so I'll go with the UN Freak ...

Re: Seven Years of “Loupe”: your thoughts, please?

1. Do you receive a hard copy of Loupe? Yep, but I will be looking to stop it after yet another fairly poor effort. 2. Do you prefer a hard copy or are you content to read the online version? Hard copy. Work on a PC all day every day, so I enjoy stepping back to read it. 3. Which types of article or...

Re: I might have a Tudor problem!!

Took some convincing for me to try a BB58, but am now a fan.

Had the 925, brilliant watch, however, I was seduced by the dial and warmth of the bronze ... love it!

Comes with a cyclops at '6', although the date never seems to change :-?

The watches@ Bel Canto appears to be out in the wild. Seen this evening, a Reel posted on Instagram - sorry but link deleted as it wasn't going to the correct Reel; which I'm now trying to find again.
