Re: Configurators - what say you?

Bremont have a Martin Baker configurator on their website. It’s not got as much choices as this though, barrel colour, dial colour, steel or DLC coated case, caseback, and strap and I think that’s about it. I’ve not looked for a while though so may be missing something.

Re: Incoming

So…a game of “20 Questions” We can deduce from the fact that it’s in Other Brands that it SHOULD be a watch, but it’s not a CW. Q. 1: Does it have a rotating bezel? A. 1: No I don't believe it does. (I'm now trying to find out to confirm) Is it a divers watch with a stuck bezel that you’re planning...

Re: CW box and chronometer certificate

I assume you aren’t planning on keeping the outer shipping box and just retaining the coffin?

The COSC certificate fits with the coffin in the shipping box and I always keep these as I see it as part of the original packaging. There’s no need to fold it if you store it in there.

Re: CW box and chronometer certificate

Golly, I hadn't seen that one before today. Wonder why the FLE didn't arrive in one :? Maybe there was a stack of boxes assembled on a shelf waiting the release of the watches? Most likely the new half coffin box was not used for the FLE as that, specifically the Owners Handbook, would have been de...

Re: What watches look good on mesh?

I don’t actually like watches on mesh, however, funnily enough the only exception I could recall was liking the look of the LLD on a mesh strap. Yours did look great :) I’m afraid I’m with Patrick on this one missF . While I would agree that some watches, such as your LLD did look good on the mesh,...

Re: Domestic Kitchen Wall Clock

@Greatpotfarm Dan, some of those look great. I love your woodworking skills.

Are those long wooden hands home made by you? They look excellent.

And is that a GPF logo I see on the Milita series and the clock with no name? Is that new as I’ve not seen it on your watches before?

Re: Music and Watches

For my IWC MKXVIII then I think it has to be Aces High by Iron Maiden.

For any non Maiden fans amongst us it’s a song about WW2 fighter pilots.

Music and Watches

Here’s an off topic light hearted question to ponder this weekend that has just popped into my head while I’m sat here looking at my FLE. IMG_1600.jpeg Quite a few people have commented that the back ring looks like a vinyl record which has got me thinking…… If it was made from a vinyl record, what ...
