Re: Spinning rotor syndrome on my FLE: Cured?

 Congratulations…

You are (probably) now the proud owner of an FLE, complete with sheared teeth from the no longer stuck reverser wheels. Little metal teeth now free and finding their way to anywhere that takes their fancy, somewhere!

Re: 50th birthday watch - Schofield The Light / General Purpose Field Watch

Congratulations and happy birthday Lindsey. It is always good to buy something meaningful for a landmark birthday or occasion.

I hope that you enjoy the watch for many years to come.

Re: Watch protection system.

I’ve got this air filled pouch that a beer glass was delivered in. IMG_1662.jpeg If I slide it over my arm I can still see my watch and tell the time. The only downside is that it’s turned that useful grasping tool attached to the end of my arm into more of a dibber. IMG_1663.jpeg I just knew that ...

Re: Watch protection system.

That sounds like a good idea Steve! I occasionally do something similar, but only when on holiday. I have never been part of the “wear a cheaper beater” watch on holiday brigade. I tend to always take two or three of my better watches, but there is generally at least one part of any mounta...

Re: GENERAL BOX STORAGE QUESTION

My secret is keeping to low numbers of watches and no more than a couple from any brand at any one time. It makes finding the box when needed easy. On reflection that is probably a sensible idea!😀 My system is a bit hit and miss. Once I remember when a random watch was purchased, that increases the...

Not too shabby. :) Now that I have cracked the process (completely different to the usual switch from a QR strap to a QR Bader or Consort) I will switch between bracelet an...

Re: Drab, slab sided, blobby indices…

Have you had the conversation with your explorer 214270 to explain it's not going on holiday this year! Ah good point! Whilst the BBPro will only be accompanied by my C12(40-Ti) and something cheap on a Nato for any overseas summer sun, the 214270 will be joining the Pro for a Munro jaunt to ...
