My money is on a C65 chronograph. We saw glimpses in the recent Loupe, so a release has to be edging near I reckon.
What I would love though is a C65 38/39mm.
If they can produce the C60 in 3 sizes, their vintage diver surely warrants a vintage-inspired case size. Come on CW!

Re: Aquis 39.5 too small? 43.5 too big? read on ...
I was trying to go smaller this time but the 39.5 looked ridiculously small on my wrist (to my eyes anyway), I would say that 41.5 would be perfect for many who prefer a smaller case but want to retain the diver style vibe. I would say this will wear the same as the 40mm C60. There certainly wouldn...

Aquis 39.5 too small? 43.5 too big? read on ...
Good news for those who like the Oris Aquis, but can't get on with the the current 39.5 and 43.5 cases. It looks as though Oris are going to release a 41.5mm model this year, although only available initially in the blue dial shown below. Info very limited, but it's mentioned here as well as a few o...

Introducing the latest Aquis LE ... the Carysfort Reef 18k GMT. It does look rather pretty, but wow. You think they'll sell any of these? https://k8q7r7a2.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Oris-Carysfort-Reef-Limited-Edition-Aquis-GMT-Yellow-Gold-3.jpg Further details can be found ...

Re: Timex M79 Automatic
^^^ that's fair enough, but the aforementioned divers are popular for good reason as I'm sure you're well aware. Also, with 50m WR and an acrylic crystal, I'm not sure I'd be inclined to describe this as a tool watch. Then again, we may have completely different ideas about what one should withstand...

Re: Timex M79 Automatic
It's different I guess, but priced at £249, I'd be inclined to go for a Seiko, Citizen or Orient diver.

Re: Did I Really Buy That?
To dress it down a little, I'd second the idea of a suede strap. Mid to dark blue and possibly padded.
Or since your keen on NATOs, how about a dark blue perlon? They can work quite well on dressy pieces imo.

Ah well, you missed out a very important piece of the jigsaw there.

Re: Quartz - no need to hide...
I've always had quartz watches and always will. BUT, if I were to add another in future, it would either be a decent serviceable movement (usually vintage) or HAQ. Below are the few I currently own. The most expensive in my collection is quartz ... https://i.ibb.co/mbrWcLK/IMG-20190223-082038.jpg Go...

Re: Of your own watches. your favourite dial?
Lovely watches so far gents  I would have to say my GS (also quartz). The contrast between the faceted hands/markers and matte black dial is absolutely gorgeous. It's simple by design, but the details on the dial are razor sharp and flawless ... https://i.ibb.co/1ZC0S3p/IMG-20190624-091155.jpg
