Re: best bang for buck watches

Well besides CW of course, I think lew and huey makes some unique designs with solid movements for a very fair price.

Re: Incoming 1969 Vintage Omega

I love the look of vintage watches but I've fully embraced the 40mm+ crowd. Anything less just looks really small on me. I wonder what it would have been like to sport a 48mm watch in 1969? But yours is gorgeous, timeless and classic.

Re: Hello! New CW Owner Here - C20 Lido

It's here today! Looks fantastic, still have to play around with band size as it's a little loose with one link out and a little tight with two. Going to have to go to micro adjustments at the clasp, probably one link out and two slots in on the clasp. It's definitely on the dressy side of things, w...

Re: What is happening to charities?

I only give to organizations I know are putting the money to good use. Some guy on the street with a clipboard I have no idea where that is going.

Re: Hello! New CW Owner Here - C20 Lido

Thank you all! The alligator looks great but it is a bit pricey. Hopefully it will go on sale at some point. I definitely wouldn't mind leather. I will try and contact this Wera person I have been reading so much about as soon as I figure out how to do so! See you on the forums and thanks for the ot...

Re: C11 Elite looking better now - Well, I think so......

Isn't that the great thing about straps? A new strap, a NATO, or swapping a bracelet to leather, can take "same old same old" to WOW! That is as great choice above, I love the buttons on the strap with the aggressive nature of the dial and case. It's a great fit. Never seen a watch with 0 ...

Re: White faced dress? watch.

Please be advised that the cocktail time Seiko sarb065 has a bit of a ice blue shine to the dial and is not really silver of white. It is gorgeous though and there really isn't anything else out there like it.

Re: Steinhart Prices

I love my ocean 1 black ceramic. But I will say I literally got the watch from Germany before they responded to my email. Wus reports similar issues, lots of threads about it.

Re: any NFL fans watching tonight??

The Panthers gm is saying people are telling him the pats spied on their super bowl practices in Houston. I buy it. I'm mostly looking forward to the food next Sunday, not the game.

Re: Seiko SKX007 Green Mod

I wish there were more green watches out there like this one. It's an underutilized color. I love my atmos 20 in mint. The conseptium chrono looks good in green too.

Re: Red Dialled C4 Peregrine

Wow, that is a really gorgeous watch. It's very hard to find an attractive red dial watch. Lots of blacks, blues, and silvers out there but you have to dig deep to find a red or green that really looks that good.

Re: Cw travel pouch

I'd love to pick up a generic version of the single leather case that Lew & Huey uses to ship their watches in. I have one of those double cases, but it's a bit bulky. The one Chris uses is very durable, high quality, and easy to toss in a travel bag. Anyone know of anything like that out there?

Hello! New CW Owner Here - C20 Lido

Today I joined the CW club by buying the C20 Lido (old logo). I've just recently gotten into collection and moved up from my Fossils (hey they are fun watches) and have picked up some nice models from Steinhart, Glycine, Squale, L&H and have an Obris Morgan on the way. This Lido will fit a big h...
