Except it isn't a dive watch - the bezel has a pilot style numbering scheme.

Cheers,

You are half right. It's an aviation inspired dive watch... which is what makes it so recognizable.

Surprised to catch a CW on TV

Okay, okay, it's an old series but it's the first time I've watched it. In the final segment of the final episode of Britain's Secret Treasures (2013), a presenter dives the wreck of HMS Colossus off the Scilly Isles and I jumped when I saw the watch she was wearing... a CW Makaira 500 Pro! There's ...

Re: CW Marketing spend

You don’t really ‘get’ marketing do you Phil? Amazon is a retail outlet featuring product shots. That is their shop window not their marketing campaign. As it happens I’m working with Amazon on marketing right now so, yes, I do know what I’m talking about. Here’s Amazon’s latest large budget advert...

Re: CW Marketing spend

[ I thought you said that “Yet more dark images in which the watch cannot be seen properly” and that this was a sad trend. This inferring that you believed light and clear product shots were a requirement of successful marketing. The creative experts at, arguably the largest and most successful mar...

I think they’ve done a good job.
No, there's only one who, apparently, cannot stand to be challenged in any shape or form. As per usual

Re: CW Marketing spend

They showed an example of a brand in the same sector who had an interesting looking ad who then dropped in a bloody great, screen filling product image. It was very clear and showed lots of detail. The drop-off in viewing at this point was huge - people had been Ok about watching the 'nice' build-u...

Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview

I'd have been interested to know if anyone contacted CW and asked if it was okay for the forum dedicated to their watches to discuss the new range given that it was being discussed widely elsewhere. I'd be even more interested to know if that request was declined. There's a time to admit defeat. Gi...

Re: CW Marketing spend

The videos promoting the new watch should be filed under 'dreadful'. I have seen obscure small brands promoting a single watch do so much better. Yet more dark images in which the watch cannot be seen properly. It's long been a theme, sadly. They showed an example of a brand in the same sector who ...

Yes, that's what struck me. Actually, I own one already. It's called a Zelos Mako. At 35% of the price.

Interesting that the Williams doesn't have the HALO device fitted - usually the only place on the car with a Bremont logo!
