Phil's got a better tan too. Doubt if the CW Tech sees much light of day at the moment.

Re: Erika’s orig
Would love to see some comparisons between the Erika, Watch Gecko and George's straps as quite keen on this style. I have both Watchgecko and Erica's MN straps. I bought the Watchgecko's first just to prove the principle to me and see if I like them before splashing out on Erica's. I did like them ...

Re: Damasko DA 44
I will google your suggestion. I am loving the grey and red stripe! Wow, that will look stunning! Thank you for the advice. It's going to be tough to hold out on this watch until the end of the year...who knows :D The Watchgecko elastic grey red stripe and some of the other colours are not in stock...

Re: Ooh la la! 'French Style' straps
EddieTheBeast sent me a link via PM for MN style straps from CheapestNATOStraps and they are really cheap so may be worth a punt for anyone interested... https://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/collections/paratrooper-straps Still got my Turtle on the wrist, this must be the longest I've ever worn this w...

Ooh la la! 'French Style' straps
As I said I would post pictures, rather than further hijack the Erica's straps thread, I thought I would start another. I had been thinking of buying an Erica's MN strap for some time but the cost put me off as a bit much for a speculative punt. So seeing the clones on the Watchgecko site for £18 I ...

Re: Erika’s original
Watchgecko have just started selling their own 'French style' elastic MN straps and I also saw this evening on Facebook that Moose Strap Co, Canada are doing something similar. In the meantime, as I don't like the single pass style of the Erica's Original type strap, I have bought a few more from G...

Re: Suggestions - deployant clasps?
Watch Obsession sell a selection of deployment clasps from Hirsch and other manufacturers from about £30. I had a deployment on a Hirsch strap I used to have until recently and it was good quality, way above the cheapies from ebay.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Giving the Superocean a rest from its bracelet for a change so fitted the black leather CW strap that came with a long gone Trident 600 38. Liking it for now. BTW the dial isn't really blue, it's the AR coating in the sun.

Re: Breitling anyone?
Wouldn't be without my 2002 Superocean, my most worn watch. A bit shiny for some people but I like it. I could also be tempted by a few of the modern Breitling offerings but outside my price range.

Yes, it's a battle scar. The first scratch is done and dusted, the next one won't seem so traumatic.

Re: What are you listening to right now ?
Earlier this afternoon;- Meddle by Pink Floyd on (original) 1970s Vinyl . . (complete with a few ticks and crackles) ……. Comparing the reproduction with the same album played from my phone (320mbps mp3) via Bluetooth it is noticeably richer with more depth and oomph to the mid-range and bass from V...

Re: What Car do you drive??
OK not strictly my car, it's been owned by my son for around ten years but off the road for the last six due to rapidly deteriorating bodywork. Just back from a long and drawn out two years at a local body and paintshop where much magic metalwork and a bare metal respray was done - it was in a bit o...
