Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

... IIRC the current Explorer II has an orange GMT hand so what colour would be the homage? You’re correct, the current has orange hand and pointer. It’s the previous version I was thinking of with the red hand. In hindsight it really doesn’t matter, it’d look good with either. The latest rendering...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Some great looking designs here, however they all have the standard silver hands. There was talk earlier in this thread, including confirmation from Christopher Ward, that blackened hands would be possible. I assumed this option was left off the poll for brevity, but would like to see it picked up ...

Things that glow in the dark...

A reasonably interesting article about watch lume with some fascinating and horrifying historical anecdotes and hints towards future developments.

Re: Strapcode - MiLTAT Bracelets; would you recommend?

I recently (Dec. last year) bought a Strapcode oyster for my turtle. It’s a very nice bracelet, very well made, fits nicely to the watch and easy to adjust with screwed links - would recommend. I went through all the same anxieties about buying direct and in the end bought through their Amazon UK st...

I like GMT 19; grey bezel with matching stork on the GMT hand. Whilst I also like GMT 20 I’m not sure about its black second hand.

Re: C60 MK3. what would you change ?

I’ve just spotted a white dial/black bezel mk3 diver on the CW website. Only appears to be in 42mm, and non-GMT, at present.

Have I missed this previously or has it just been snuck out?

Well done, a great render.

Now that’s possibly the nicest CW I think I’ve ever seen! I’ll take one of those :D

Re: Non CW of the Day

There are a couple of watches I like very much in SC. Could I manage 43mm? Normally I wouldn't give it any consideration, but a mate has just bought a 43mm Aquis and it wears smaller than I thought. And this is unquestionably my favourite Oris model ... https://i.ibb.co/MNHTHxV/IMG-20190729-192142....

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

I think these are looking good. I always think white dialled watches risk having a lack of contrast between polished hands and the dial - and therefore, wonder what it would like if the hands (and possibly the hour markers) were edged in black? Finally, if I'm being picky, I cannot see the advantag...

Specifically, for the GMT designs 4/5 could the bezel rotation be changed from being unidirectional to bidirectional?

Re: Comparing Apples to Oranges: Tudor BB 58 vs. Oris Divers 65 Bronze Bezel

I waiting on a BB58 so you can guess where my vote goes. Nevertheless, I’ve also got an enormous crush on Oris at present after getting my green Aquis. I reckon there’s three Oris models at, or near, the top of my wish list... I’ve been selling off watches recently to raise funds (see above) and als...
