Re: CWL of the day
Looks great on that strap!!! Thank you. Got lucky on Etsy. Even fits the original buckle. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190629/45e2884873a248a3aa12e4f255783f39.jpg Which Etsy seller is that from? I’ve used red rock straps a couple of times on Etsy for canvas straps and they’re excellent. Not s...

Ha, that makes a lot of sense.
The most annoying is that this kind of behavior Just detracts from those users that had genuine problems they wanted support and help with

Re: Buying a CW watch in the future?
Honestly - I wouldn’t let the reports on the forum influence that decision much. Hoe many individual issues were reported? 6 or 7? They are anonymously reported cases... none have been verified and we have not heard CW’s in any of those either. I bought 3 watches off them in the last 4 months. I als...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!
So does anyone know if this rough winding is normal for our movements? I wonder if there is extra gaskets and other waterproofing bits in the crown shaft that are the cause if this? This is the only watch I have with that depth rating so I have nothing to compare it to. I would love to hear from mo...

^^^ Agreed  0B1415BA-D7AD-4E4E-B694-E6E02EE9D56E.jpeg :-) That is really nice. I am still hoping they will make a Titanium 104 at some stage. A nickel allergy stops me from wearing any Steel... Here the Ti 103 LE with Chrono in full swing: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190627/ec58d601...

Re: Does CW sell returned watches?
Judging by the number of faults highlighted lately, quite possibly. There must be many watches returned so no doubt many will be then resold like any other mediocre mass sales venture. Be interesting to know their returns' rate. Judging by posts of late, my guess is it's likely to be very high. I d...

Re: Non CW of the Day
Lovely Sinn! Seems like there is a lot of Sinn owners here! (Just like myself) even though they are very different brands, must be the value for money as well as lots of research that brings people to the same conclusions!

Re: Is this acceptable on a £1250 watch?
I really don’t get it. You got to be able to turn the thing... it’s not wobbling around by itself. If you try and move it around it will move around. It also doesn’t seem to move clockwise at all when in it’s resting position. Some bezels require more some require less force. As long as it isn’t so ...

Does CW sell returned watches?
I can see how the forums would make you feel paranoid in the last few weeks. I bought my CW watch in the showroom and was also offered a 100 GBP off. That was about 8% discount. Most watch dealers will do 10% at the very least on all brands, and a lot more on most brands. There are only very few exc...

Re: Is this acceptable on a £1250 watch?
Don’t think a replacement will do it as several people have confirmed theirs are the same. I think it’s the way they are designed to be.
You can return for a refund, but replacement would probably be the same...

Re: Another Elite 1000 (mk3) arrived!
Quick question for the other Elite owners here: What does your manual winding sound and feel like? I have a few watches with the SW200 movement and the Elite feels a little rough to wind - I have a video here. The first 10-15 turns feel a little rough and uneven, then it becomes a little more stead...
