Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell
Nice watches! I wonder if the MOD gets to sign off on these before they get released? While I like the logo at 9, it makes a lot more sense at 12 for a vintage-style watch. If I were buying I don’t think I would be able to pick... the Navy one is a little busy, but I like it on the bracelet. The Air...

Re: How Careful / Paranoid Are You About Wearing Your Best / Most Treasured?
The only watches I wouldn’t wear for manual work are the DLC / PVC coated ones. I dislike that scratched up look when you can see the metal through the black coating. Otherwise it’s the strap that determines what activities are permissible. Bracelets for everything but exercise. They get sticky and ...

Well thank you. I would expect it to be extremely accurate indeed.

It’s the 44mm version. They make a 48 as well which is too big for me too!

Non CW of the Day
Not surprisingly the newbie again today 948C08AF-03D6-4BAD-A92B-49EA28D7659B.jpeg stefs- I love that watch. Makes me envious. I owned it for all of 1 day, bought it while on holidays in May this year as I was promised it was all Titanium, but the screws and the crown are steel. Got a rash after wea...

Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?
I still think the red on the seconds had should extend past the pip towards the center exactly as far as the red extends on the GMT hand. So that when the two hands cross, the “end of red lines” line up...

Re: Service cost and what is involved in a CW service
I like having the original movement in a watch. That’s purely subjective of course, but then isn’t a subjective view of what you like about a watch what our hobby is all about? I wouldn’t do it for all my watches but for the ones I like I would much rather keep it as original as I can, rather than l...

C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August
Not at all - I suppose I’m part of the way there in that I will now happily use, mark and ding watches that cost 6,7 or 8 hundred pounds. Only two or so years ago, buying a watch that was a couple of hundred quid watch was a single major purchase that needed to be ‘babied’. Not quite there with wat...

Re: Omega X-33 Skywalker
Thank you, I saw the 24 months indication on the website, but I was wondering if any owners can confirm is that’s accurate. But you’re right of course, it really is a silly question and will depend on use...

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August
Looked at the picture in more detail. It really is a beautiful watch. I don’t think the pictures on the preview website do it justice, they are a little blurry and badly cut - my guess is that’s on purpose and full pictures will be available on the 28th. Quite disappointed it doesn’t have a titanium...

Is it a titanium case? I guess it is, probably the same as the recent Elite, but doesn’t seem to confirm that anywhere...
Also surprised by the 300m WR in combination with a He valve... that’s usually reserved for higher WR model?
It really is a nice watch...
