Just One Watch - Can I survive?

I’ve just ordered a new CW, thanks to heavily reduced prices in their website for specific models, and it is time for a personal experiment - can I get by with just one mechanical watch, all day / every day, come what may, no restrictions? One week? One month? Six months…? My daily working environme...

Re: Non CW of the Day

A rough day out at our local coffee shop this morning, needed something capable enough to cope with that

Re: I want to like it, but….

For me it is the C60 Elite Titanium. I want to love this watch and it should fit right in my wheelhouse. Dive watch, matte dial and bezel, fully graduated bezel, date... But I can't get past the small details. The underline from 0-16 minutes looks wrong. It should stop at 15 minutes. I can't put my...

Re: C60 Graphite Edition £640 on bracelet!!!!

Ditto in the regret that it was not a 39/40mm version.
Disappointed not to have had an email and therefore missed out anyway.
Oh well, no matter :-)

Re: Watch repair breakdown

I’ve had to send a couple of my CW watches for service/repair over the years and, in the past, the information I have received has been rather “binary”. It has been delivered, it will be serviced, it will be repaired, it is on its way back to you etc. I really like this extension on what work has be...

Finally time to swap straps for some more festive colours…

Can’t decide on a specific combination right now so I guess I’ll just mix and match.
Keep well and have a lovely festive time everyone.

Re: There's Camel Vintage Oak and then there's Camel Vintage Oak

Quick question - does the newer strap have a small ribbon to keep one of the retainers from drifting too far along the strap? If so, then this style has been made by a totally different manufacturer (as far as I am aware). As a result, the leathers they source are likely to be very different from th...

Re: Drinking then spending

I buy far, far too much tut after a glass or two. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve woken up, slightly worse for wear, and see eBay alerts on my phone congratulating me on my latest purchase. So far, nothing too excessive or expensive, but I think I’m keeping Mr Postman busy with my returns… Ke...

Re: Oops!

Wear it. Ding it. Enjoy it :-) Every watch I have had from new has its own fair share of scars now. I recognise each and every one of them and that all tell a part of the watch’s story. I have sent many watches in for service/ repair and I have always insisted that no work is done to polish out any ...

New Military Series - Cranwell, Sandhurst and Dartmouth

Just spotted that a Series 2 of the military trio are up for pre-order. Sandhurst with a new handset, a bronze case as well as a steel version, Cranwell with a smaller case size and different dial and an all blue Dartmouth. Dartmouth is still 41mm case, but down to 46mm lug to lug. I think handset c...
