Even happier now having had permission to purchase a C7 Italian Racing Red in the nearly new sale too! Seems the advice above to buy both was the way forward!

If you wear the watch all day and are reasonably active then the watch should go through the night with no difficulty. If you have to give it additional attention, either winding or putting on a watch winder then the automatic movement is performing below specification and needs attention. Robin Re...

Thanks for all the advice, I've tried the full manual wind suggested above and all is well
I think I'll follow the suggestion of putting it on the winder the night before, seems the easiest way to ensure it's ready to go for the days sedentary IT work!

To check the power reserve - wind your watch fully and let it run without wearing it anymore (note when it stops). You can handwind it till it won't wind anymore. This will probably take around 40 turns of the crown or so. I once slept wearing a watch and when I woke up it had stopped, which is und...

C60 Trident GMT Automatic - stopped whilst on wrist
Had a worrying thing with my C60 Automatic GMT with it actually stopping whilst it was on my wrist. The crown was definitely screwed fully in and nothing seemed out of place. I just waggled my wrist around when I noticed it and it started again. After that it kept going and kept the correct time too...
