Re: CW January ‘21 Sale

I’m still in ‘preparation’ status but remain unconcerned given the feedback about the success of the sale (famous last words)

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale

Time to find out how good the service & repair is at CW. New chrono is deffo not working  Do hope it is a simple repair or even a flakey battery, I have after this watch for a year now. Hmmmm, in the light of Kip’s posting on the affect of UK lockdown, I suspect turnaround will be slow. ...

Re: CWL of the day

I have been without a CW for a few years but these pics and the bargain price are tempting me into my second in two months. This probably won't help you Andy, but I also got the orange Tiber strap. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210110/bdeb91cff9b1102c33e2b11bef2b5ed5.jpg Guy There’s a Watch Ge...

With any luck it means it's been despatched. Why not have a helpchat conversation with the retailer. I have never had an issue with Watches of Switzerland.
Thanks - seems their CS team is closed at weekends. I've sent them an email to read with their Monday morning cup of coffee :)

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale

Someone has eaten the Bounty (again)! Good for the buyer. Just the 'Oh Deere' Fudge left. Both are perfectly good watches, of course, but always left until last You mean that someone has bought the parts bin special Birkin thing? Strange times. :) Neil It bloomin' well looks like it. I thought under Sarbanes Oxley you couldn't charge for something unless it had been dispatched? Whatever the case, it's going to be an a**e ache having to sort it out...

Thanks Toph, it looks fantastic  But the Oris might be winning, and I saw this old thread that gave the edge to Oris' build quality and finishing: https://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=30962 Oris are well liked, no doubt. Do bear in mind that thread a few years back will be ...

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale

Well, DPD delivered my new arrival - the "white" prototype C65 - and I've got to admit, I'm a little disappointed. The new packaging is fantastic, but the watch has a more silver face rather than the white the photos in the listing suggested. Back to CW HQ it goes, unless anyone else would like it....
